Degree-wise Admission Process

Admission is solely on merit, with the bulk weightage being given to qualifying examination marks (10+2).

• B.Sc.: Six B.Sc. programs are offered in the college: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Microbiology, and Nutrition and Dietetics. Admission is primarily based on merit, assessed on the qualifying examination marks, especially in the relevant subjects.

• BA: The two programs offered under this category are English and Tamil. Admission is on merit, with higher weightage on performance in language subjects within the qualifying exam and overall academic background.

• B.Com: There are two B.Com programs - B.Com and B.Com Computer Applications. Admissions are entirely on the basis of merit, with focus on 10+2 performance in commerce-related subjects and mathematics.

• For the BCA program, admission is via merit and overall performance in academic subjects, considering aptitude for computer science.

• For the BBA, selection for scholarship applicants is based entirely on merit, with emphasis on the overview of leisure activities of applicants concerning management studies.
