  • Take GUJCET Examination: Candidates would need to appear on the date specified for GUJCET; it consists, as usual, of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

UCET offers B.E. with an individual intake capacity among these four courses:

  • B.E. Mechanical Engineering: The intake capacity for the course programme is 180, and admission is through the GUJCET score; candidates must have had Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2.
  • B.E. Civil Engineering: With 180 seats in the course, admission is through GUJCET scores. The student should have a good exposure to Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics during higher secondary studies.
  • B.E. Electrical Engineering: The programme has a total seat count of 120. The qualifying criteria for admission are GUJCET, and the candidate should have taken up PCM subjects in 10+2.
  • B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering: The programme is open for admission with an anticipated intake of 90, too being on the basis of GUJCET performance.

The admission cutoff for all B.E. programmes is run through the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET). The final selection and allotment of seats generally occur by counselling, depending on the merit list prepared based on the GUJCET score.
