Hello Mugdha,

Below I have provided the imporatnt details about both the colleges -

University Institute of Technology Rajib Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya :

  • The University Institute of Technology is a department of Rajib Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya and was eshtablished in 1986. The college is public/government owned and has a campus of 241 acres with 55 faculty people.
  • The college offers courses like B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc .
  • The college has the facilities like boys hostel, girls hostel, library, sports, wifi, alumni association, transport facilities etc.
  • As far as the placements are considered, a B.E./B.Tech student gets a average package of 3.30 Lakhs and a M.E./M.Tech student gets a average package of 3.50 Lakhs.

Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management :

  • Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management (formerly known as Northern India Engineering College) is a private college and was eshtablished in the year 2003. The campus is about 9 acres with 238 faculty people.
  • The college is affiliated to Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi  and has been also accredited 'B' grade by NAAC.
  • The college offers courses like B.E./B.Tech, BBA, MBA.
  • The college has the facilities like library, sports, cafeteria, medical/hospital, alumni association, wifi etc.
  • Talking about the placements, B.E./B.Tech students gets a highest package of 9 Lakhs and average package of 4 Lakhs.

Now according to me, Dr Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management is better compared to University Institute of Technology Rajib Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (formerly known as Northern India Engineering College). The fomer has better recognition and better placements. Since you currently live in Delhi, so it will be economical and also easy for you to go to college. But if you want to study outside delhi then you can go for UIT RGPV, Bhopal.

You can also go through the below mentioned links and checkout the details regarding both the colleges -

Hello,

Most probably the semester would be ending around the first week of December for this odd semester for the first years. Provided there is no delay in conducting end term exams for the first semester, the semester would be ending at the usual timing of  6-8 December of that year.  In case of any delay in conducting exams due to any of the reasons, the semester end vacations might be shortened but still, it will be a considerable break. I hope it helps your doubt.

Thank You

Hii Prakhar,

As you are a student of UIT Coimbatore you can go and inquire in admissions or examination cell.Even you can check for the schedules at there site.

Hello,

The first year in college is not that tough and you can easily pass the exams with very little effort. Just follow whatever books have been told about by the teacher and prepare according to the notes. Most teachers give questions from those particular books only. For knowledge purpose you can do NPTEL lectures but it won't help in getting good marks in exams which can be done only by following professors.

Hello Mugdha,

University Institute of Technology is a well established college with well-experienced faculty and have labs equipped with modern tools and gadgets.

Yes, they have ample number of caretakers in the hostel that maintains the hygiene in the washrooms by cleaning it daily.

Hope this helps.
