Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya admissions are offered to undergraduate programmes based on the scores of JEE Main/ PEPT or based on the merit of the qualifying exam. Admissions to postgraduate programmes are offered based on the merit of the qualifying exam or GATE scores, to diploma programmes based on PPT scores and to Ph.D programmes based on the scores of the entrance test and interview performance. Hi aspirant, since you have 79 percentile with OBC category in JEE Mains so on the behalf of your percentile you can surely get into UIT RGPV, Bhopal. You can get admission in the institution but you may have to sacrifice your desired branch you may get the lower branches like Petrochemical Engineering, Automobile Engineering you may have to satisfy with these branches if you are ok with these kinds of branches than choose it otherwise get into another college. Remember this is not the end.

As per your percentile(74), your rank would be roughly around 280,000.Your board percentage won't matter much in this except  for fulfilling eligibility criteria.

Your chances of getting into RGPV UIT are good after considering your Home State and Women's quota.Your chances of getting CSE are  less,but you can get other branches like Automobile,petrochemical even you have chances for branches like Electrical and Electronics Engineering,ECE chances are less but still there is chance.

When coming to branch selection both have good scope and future and its depends on your passion and interest let know compare colleges you can get some idea .

1. Placements wise Both branches are good in Jabalpur According to 2019 placements  83 % students get placed in CSE in Jablapur whereas coming to UIT RGPV 48% students placed in CSE .
2. In ECE also Jabalpur students get placed well compared to UIT RGPV
3. Average package offered is 3.60 LPA for B.tech in Jabalpur .
4. 103 Students rated 3.8 /5 for Jabalpur  Whereas coming to  UIT RGPV  94 students rated 3.4 / 5 .

I think know you understand very well Jabalpur Engineering is quite better compared to UIT RGPV Bhopal .

As you are getting a chance of studying in NIT means that you scored well in JEE mains 2020 so first of all congratulations for that. I would like to suggest you that you should first make your thoughts clear so that you will take decision properly.

That is there should decision of taking admission according to your preferences. As if you are willing to study in NIT then it should be better to take admission there because with low branches in NIT also you should make your career bright because as these are the very good institutions so branch doesn't matter a lot.

But if your preference is to any of the specific branch then you have to go with that because according to me you have to study in that branch in which you have interest then there should be no any relevance of any college that it is NIT or not.

So I would like to suggest you to be clear with your thoughts and then think also on your goal which will also help you in planning. So plan well and choose that you  truely want to do.

Among UIT RGPV Bhopal and LNCT Bhopal, UIT RGPV Bhopal has a higher M.E /M.Tech. average  package that is INR 3.50 Lakhs compared to that of LNCT that is INR 3.00 Lakhs only.

But, in terms of B.E /B.Tech placements, LNCT leads UIT RGPV as LNCT has average package of INR 4.50 Lakhs while UIT RGPV has average package of INR  3.30 Lakhs for B.E /B.Tech course.
