If you have completed your Diploma in CSE (computer Science and Engineering ) then you are eligible for B.tech Lateral Entry Admission in various B.Tech Colleges. Engineering Colleges take admission in Lateral courses on the basis of merit in entrance exam or on the basis of marks obtained in Diploma or equivalent course

Further, to get lateral entry admission to 2nd year B.Tech Course, you have to give an entrance exam known as Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET). The entrance test is a gateway for admissions to 2 ^nd year undergraduate engineering programmes (BTech) and 1 ^st year undergraduate architecture programmes (BArch) offered under the lateral entry scheme. The exam is conducted in the pen-paper or offline format.

Furthermore, For BTech lateral entry admissions, students must have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in a 3-year diploma (Engineering – any stream) after the Class 10 board exam . Students who have pursued a 3-year diploma after class 12 board exams are also eligible for admission to the BTech course through lateral entry.

Hi,

Madhav Institute Of Technology Gwalior is better than UIT RGPV Bhopal in almost all aspects. The placemt offered is 70-80% with the highest package offered 14 lakhs and the lowest offered 4.5 lakhs. The campus atmosphere and academics of MIT gwalior is also much better than UIT RGPV Bhopal.

If you are good at coding, have strong projects on your resume ,having good command in core subjects and in data structures then you will get good placement for sure from Off-campus or on-campus . In this era as developing digital technology both IT and CSE are best courses. If you want to choose IT course then I consider you to join in LNCT university it has best faculty and it has  the best campus selections also. If you want to join in UIT RGPV then you have to think about it because it has less  campus selections when compared to LNCT.

as you mentioned your jee main rank is 527644 .

which is very less so i will suggest you to prepare for next year and try to put more effort and then you will get more marks and good ranks

and then after you go for counselling conducted by jossa and able to get good college
