Value for money and quality education

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is not very modern as the institute was established long back in 90's but the upgradtion work is going on in full swing to convert classes into smart classes as well as improving the hostel rooms. When it comes to library it's very well maintained with a good number of books .

    Academics

The quality of teaching is good, the staff members are very cooperative, from teaching to submission of assignments everything is very well planned by them. But the only problem is with the curriculum which lacks the recent developments in the field.

    Placements

Only IT companies are the major recruitors. The average package is around 7-9lpa . But the process for placement is carried out very smoothly . Core companies come rarely for the recruitment and students have to maily rely on open campus drives

    Value for Money

It is for sure a value for money because the average fees per semester comes out to be 30-37k which is fine. Apart from this various scholarships are also there for students of minority communities and sinlge girl child which further makes the course pocket friendly and affordable.

    Campus Life

The campus life is very vibrant with some or the other event round the corner. Various cultural,, sports as well as technical activities are conducted from time to time. All the events are conducted under the supervision of staff.

    Others

It's a value for money and overall a good college.

Balanced experience. Not so good, Not so bad.

    College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is not good as it is a government college except classrooms of 1st year students. In college campus there are two photocopy shops, one canteen, one ATM and one union bank branch. Canteen is not hygienic enough. Toilets are the worst part for 1st year students. Although it has very beautiful sunsets from the hill top in campus. labs are old and dirty and had less no. of equipment. Some new buildings in campus are good.

    Academics

academics is average and is focused on earning marks not learning things as any other college. Academics department is not supportive sometimes depending upon their mood. teachers are regular and they have great knowledge but they can't express it completely because of less no. of resources. Students have freedom for extra curricular activities because they don't have much load of syllabus.

    Placements

Placements are less. TCS is regular visitor of UIT and average package of UIT is around 3.5 lacs per annum. in 2017 approximately 250 students were selected in TCS. Most of CSE and IT branch students got placed.

    College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is nice . All classes and other places are well maintained . Classroom are large with AC installed .hostels are always clean and are well maintained . Uit also have a big library and you can just sit and study there .

    Academics

Faculties are supportive so the learning thing goes well in uit rgpv . The curriculum is updated and all resources are available. For job you obviously have to put your efforts and study things aoart from what you learn in college.

    Placements

There is a bit of placement issue in university institute of technology ,rgpv but still if you work hard then you will be selected by companies . You can't just be dependent on college for placement ,one can try for off-campus .

    Value for Money

Fees is very low . For 1st year i have only paid 32000/- and according to me it's very low and since you get to study so its worth it.

    Campus Life

We have large area so you can play games and canteen is also good.

    Others

Overall uit is a nice college

    MY COLLEGE

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

this college has a very good infrastructure and the labs of this college are very well furnished and well settled ,also the classrooms of this college are in good health you will find immense peace and great atmosphere here.

    Academics

Talking about Academics there is nothing to tell about this college you all are very well aware of the situation of government colleges. All the faculties only care about the attendance Assignments that we complete with the help of internet.

    Placements

here comes the placements and the government colleges doesn't give a damn to this word. Only few companies appear and their top priorities are the students of CS/IT while students of other branches generally apply for Open Phase Interviews

    Value for Money

    The cost of our course is 32000 for one year which is very well accepted by a normal middle class family . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . But as a student i don't think it is much worth .

    Campus Life

The campus life in this college is pretty good . we generally spend a great time with my friends in mean time and enjoy a lot . The campus is nice and situated in a great locality......................

    Others

no i don't this there is anything to add about this college . Nothing effective will change in this college with this review ............................................................................

Its a good college with adequate facilities.

    College Infrastructure

There is no cupboard in the hostel rooms. Also there is problem regarding water supply. The washrooms are not clean and hygienic. Library has a good collection of books. Classrooms are well maintained.

    Academics

All the professors are well educated and are always ready to clear the doubts. The course is updated regularly. Quizes and mid semester exams are regularly held to check the knowledge of the students.

    Placements

The highest salary offered is 12 lakhs while the average salary is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% of the students are placed. Only IT companies come for placement. And companies like wipro and tcs only come to the college.

    Value for Money

Fees is minimal. The total cost for Btech is 1.25 lakhs excluding hostel charges which is acceptable as per the quality of education and degree of government college. Also there are a lot of scholarships available.

    Campus Life

The campus is well maintained and several measures are taken for the safety of students. Everytime some or the other activity is being organised in the college to indulge the students and in order to brush up their skills.

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is not upto the mark. The classes are not well maintained and lack smart class features. The hostels need renovation but the quality of food provided is good. Library is well maintained with a good number of books.

    Academics

The curriculum is outdates and doesn't make students job ready. It is more theoritical and pays less attention to practical methods used in the industry. The quality of teaching is also not good and students have to make efforts from their side to gain knowledge

    Placements

The highest package was of 7lpa which went to ec branch. Only IT companies come for the placement. Companies like tcs and wipro are the main recruitors. For core technical companies students have to either go for open campus or work on their behalf to get a job

    Value for Money

The average cost per year is of somewhat around 60k . It is value for money because the degree is of a government colleefe which gives an edge over other private Institutes. Apart from this there are a lot of scholarships and concession for minority and single girl child.

    Campus Life

Uit offers a very vibrant college life. These four years will have a great impact on your life because there is always some or the other activity round the corner to keep yourself occupied with. Moreover there are events conducted at departmental level also from time to time

Classes aren't well maintained . Hostels are not upto to the mark and need some serious renovation though the food provided is hygenic and pure. Laboratory is fine with good equipments which are very well maintained.

    Academics

The quality is teaching is somewhat acceptable but the curriculum is outdated and recent development in the field are missing in the curriculum. The students have to work on their end to get themselves job ready

    Placements

Every year there are one or two companies which are the major recruiters like TCS and wipro. Overall there are good opportunities for students to get placed in reputed companies from the side of college. The placement cell is working to get more reputed companies in the coming year.

    Value for Money

It's for sure a value for money because the overall expenditure for a semester comes out to be around 30-35k which is acceptable as per the quality and the degree of a government college as compared to private institutions.

    Campus Life

The campus life is very vibrant with lots of cultural and sports activities going on from time to time. Many technical events are also organised at the departmental level to promote technical education among students.

    College Infrastructure

The institute has a very big campus spread over 241.14 acres. The infrastructure have separate blocks of every department. The institute has large open area with playground. The campus is surrounded by greenery and is about 3 km from airport of Bhopal.

    Campus Life

The Institute has huge campus with a playground, an auditorium, canteen and Central library. Have a question related to UIT RGPV Bhopal ?

I'm thinking of going into UIT rgvp bhopal and I'm more likely to go for chemical engineering..if i skill myself im cs or it...so can i sit for the placements of both will my college allow me for the same??

    Hello Megha,

at UIT GPV Bhopal students entrolled in Chemical Engineering typically participate in placements related to their specific field. to be eligible for compuer science (CS) or Information Technology (IT) placements you would generally need to be enrolled in those specific programs. it's advisable to consult the training and placement office at UIT RGPV for detailed information on cross-depatment placement policies.

How is the academic pressure in UIT in Cse

    Hello,

The academic pressure in UIT (University Institute of Technology) for CSE varies by university but is generally moderate to high. Students face a rigorous curriculum with core subjects, programming, projects, and lab work. Balancing theory and practicals can be challenging. Regular assessments, coding practices, and project submissions add to the pressure. However, good time management and consistent study habits make it manageable. Peer support and guidance from seniors also help.

    Hope this helps you,

    Thank you

I am currently studying at 1st semester of Madhav Institute of Technology (MITS), Gwalior, and I want to apply for lateral entry to UIT RGPV, SGSITS, or DAVV. Am I eligible for admission?

Unfortunately you are not eligible for lateral entry admission in UIT RGPV, SGSITS, and DAVV because a first-year engineering student cannot apply for lateral entry admission because lateral entry in these colleges is only available to students who have already completed a diploma in engineering, allowing them to directly enter the second year of a B.Tech program; therefore, you need to complete a diploma first to be eligible for lateral entry.

However you can take part in college level counselling of UIT RGPV, SGSITS, and DAVV to take transfer from your college if any seat vacant in the college they will notified it on their official website in the month of July.keep visiting site for admission details.
