Though the campus is clean but it lacks some basic amenities specially in pct department. Mechanical, automobile and pct are usually combined which create more problem. The library has good collection of books but at departmental level there is a lot of mismanagement. Renovation work is under progress for smart classes and wifi equipped campus
Not much emphasis is given to the studies. Students have to work from their end to acquire knowledge. The curriculum needs lot of improvement. The quality is teaching is not good and students have to apple polishing to get good grades in exams
When it comes to placement petrochemical engineering is the most neglected branch. No core company comes for recruitment. This maybe because of weak alumni. The branch is very recent and so the alumni is not as strong though placement department is working on it.
It is value for money because in the end it's the degree that matters and when it comes to a govt degree then it's thumbs up for sure . The average fees per semester comes out to be somewhat near 30-35INR including the bus fare.
The campus life is quiet vibrant with some fests always lined up. There are various groups like cultural group which conducts various events throughout the year apart from this there is a sports group and other departmental level groups.
Uit has good infrastructure collage campus was big classroom are well equipped with all the facilities hostel was good and food is also good library is there but there is nothing like sports club even faculties are not interested
I am studying in automobile engineering branch and the quality of teaching is very poor teachers are not available for students and they are also not qualified curriculum is also outdated as it was affiliated with RGPV bhopal
Placements are only for the branches like computer science engineering and information technology branch and the salary is also average around 3-4 lakhs per annum placement process is easy there is a common portal for that
College fees is very less only 31000 per year and it is really worth
No campus life only focus on attendence
College infrastructure was good and have all the facilities sports club was not available library was good and it has large number of books hostels are also quite good with all the facilities as food and wifi

I was a student of automobile engineering teacher are not that good specially automobile engineering branch they don't even know what they are teaching, and not supported as well curriculum was also as affiliate by RGPV
Placements was only average and limited with only few engineering branches like the computer science, information technology and electronic and telecommunication branches because companies required coading background
College fees was very low because it is a government aided institution fees is around 31000 per year only
No campus life in college no extra curricular activities nothing teachers are not at all supportable
College infrastructure was good and all basic facilities was their and all laboratories are there with all equipments, classrooms are big enough and have all necessary facilities like air-conditioned and projectors
I was a student of mechanical engineering course quality of teaching was good and teachers are well qualified and helpful as well. Curriculum was not updated and was old as was 10-15 years before affiliated by RGPV
Only service based companies come for placements like tata consultancy services, I.B.M.,wipro and capegemeni sometimes and salary package was around 3 lakh per annum to 3.6 lakhs per annum placement process was easy
Cost was around 31000 per year which is quite less comparing with other colleges
Campus life was just average no societies and groups was there
The campus has an average infrastructure though work is going on for making it tech friendly and smart classes have also been introduced. The labs aren't upto the mark but the library has a good and useful collection of books
I have studied automobile engineering and i feel that the faculty was friendly but not good when it came to teaching just like any other govt college. The curriculum needs upgradation but still the most important thing one gets to learn is to depend on self to get education which is a must
The only company that conducts a drive is tcs. Thr students have to usually look for open campuses or prepare for govt jobs. Some core companies do conduct campuses but it happens in some 4-5 years. Maybe this is because of lack of an alumini
Yes it was a value for money. The average cost per semester was 30k approximately. Moreover there are various scholarships like central sector , minority students, single girl child that further benefits economically weaker students
Very vibrant with some or the other fest round the corner. Your attention is always occupied. There are cultural, technical, sports events apart from this there is a group for competition like sae baja
College campus was huge with all the facilities available library was good and it has large number of books classes are big and airy with projactors and hostels are also quite good with all the facilities
I was studying automobile engineering and quality of teaching is just average teacher always focus on attendence not on teaching curriculum is also outdated as it is affiliated with RGPV bhopal, and there is nothing like job ready
Few placements for only computer related branches as they required coading background. No placements for core branches, salary is also average around 3lakh to 3.5 lakh per annum process was easy as there is a commen Portal for all
Cousre fees is 16000 per semester which is very less but even that amount is not worth it
College campus was huge but no campus activities location is also far from main city
College infrastructure is nice no doubt but collage management was poor no maintenance was there library is good and new hostels are also quite good double occupancy room was there with food and all facilities
I am studying in automobile engineering branch, quality of teaching is very bad teachers are partial and they don't even know how to teach, curriculum was outdated as it was 10-15 years ago no current trends.
No placements was available in university institute of technology for branches other than information technology and computer science engineering and in there branches percentage is also average around 40-50 percent
Only one good thing about this college is the fees only 31000 per year and it will also get refund if apply for scholarship for st/sc/obc and other minorities
No campus life in this college only focus on attendence and classes
Collage have only big classroom,no facilities even fans are not working,in summers drinking water was not available library is good have huge amount of books, hostels are also good they are newly build and have all facilities
I was a student of automobile engineering there, teaching quality was just average, curriculum was not updated as it is same as other colleges in Madhya Pradesh as all are affiliated with r.g.pv.bhopal
No placements for core engineering branch students only students with coding background got placements and they are also limited to few companies like tcs wipro and all these and salary is also average around 3 lakhs per annum
My course fees was 31000 per year, and i think it is worth because it is the cheapest collage in the state
No campus life no groups and societies, no activities for students
Classes are big enough and laboratories are also good but only for first year students, sports was not there you have to take care of your own if you are interested in particular sport classes are not maintained regularly
Mechanical engineering i was studying there teaching quality is quite good mechanical department was good and was helping as well does not khow about the other branches, but i don't think that the study makes me job ready
Placements are negotiable only few students got placed only if they have coding background mass recruiting service based companies come for placements and salary is also average around 3 lakhs to 3.5 lakhs maximum
College fees was very low because it is a government collage only 31000 per year including the Bus facilities
No campus life no extra curricular activities only focus on attendence
Hello Megha,
at UIT GPV Bhopal students entrolled in Chemical Engineering typically participate in placements related to their specific field. to be eligible for compuer science (CS) or Information Technology (IT) placements you would generally need to be enrolled in those specific programs. it's advisable to consult the training and placement office at UIT RGPV for detailed information on cross-depatment placement policies.
Hello,
The academic pressure in UIT (University Institute of Technology) for CSE varies by university but is generally moderate to high. Students face a rigorous curriculum with core subjects, programming, projects, and lab work. Balancing theory and practicals can be challenging. Regular assessments, coding practices, and project submissions add to the pressure. However, good time management and consistent study habits make it manageable. Peer support and guidance from seniors also help.
Hope this helps you,
Thank you

Unfortunately you are not eligible for lateral entry admission in UIT RGPV, SGSITS, and DAVV because a first-year engineering student cannot apply for lateral entry admission because lateral entry in these colleges is only available to students who have already completed a diploma in engineering, allowing them to directly enter the second year of a B.Tech program; therefore, you need to complete a diploma first to be eligible for lateral entry.
However you can take part in college level counselling of UIT RGPV, SGSITS, and DAVV to take transfer from your college if any seat vacant in the college they will notified it on their official website in the month of July.keep visiting site for admission details.
