The College Infrastructure is too good. You will find all the facilities inside the Campus from the Academic services like Library and Laborateries to Sports ground and cafe. The College is well maintained in term of greenery and cleaniness.
The Faculties is absolutely good. You will get all the resources from the college online. Students got the projects to work on in every semester, Faculties also help students regarding any doubts related to projects and evaluate the student nicely.
The placement is not good, Most of the student got unplaced in final year and had to go for Masters or in other fields, Until or unless you became expert in IT or you made some outstanding Projects, You cannot rely on the placements.
If you have interest in the IT field, This College is one of the best college in Dehradun where you dont have to spend a lot of Money. Some students even earn by freelancing enough money to cover 60-80% fees of the College.
As I was living in Flat, I had not enjoyed the Campus life as I used to visit the college and came back to home. But during project work, I had spent a lot of time in the campus cafe. Apart from it we used to visit Mussorrie too sometimes as It was nearby Hill station where you can do outing with your friends in weekends.
I was looking for Btech but had to get settle with it. Earlier I was not that much excited to enter into this college but with time passed, I got some good friends and even good Campus exposure from this college, Overall the experience was good. I had learnt a loy from this College.
The campus is green, nice, and well-maintained, and it is a nice learning place. The computer labs are well-equipped with up-to-date systems, and the library is nice with digital content as well as hard copies. There is Wi-Fi throughout the campus, though the speed is not consistent at times. The canteens provide hygienic food, and there are plenty of hangouts inside the campus. Hostel facilities are good but could be a bit better maintained.
Trainers for the BCA program were knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone had excellent teaching experience and always stood ready to assist us anytime we needed help, whether project-wise or in academics. I liked how majority of them educated us to write code practically and apply things practically in life instead of theory.
I graduated with BCA in 2019. Honestly, the placement scenario for BCA students was not very promising. Some IT companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and TCS came to campus, but the offers would usually be junior-level offers with a package of 2.5 to 4 LPA. Some students got internship placements with college assistance, but otherwise, you need to be aggressive and find something better off-campus if you want to go places.
Hi,
There are lot of opportunity after Bsc IT.
If you are interested in job than you can apply for jobs in IT companies for roles like Analyst, Data Analyst, Network Administration, Programming, web development, Database management administrative and many more. ..
But if you are interested in higer studies than you can go for MSc, Mtech, MBA etc.
