Hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doing absolutely great.

With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that If a student wants an admission in VJTI then He/She needs to score more than 99.99 percentile in MHT CET examination (General Category).

Admissions to VJTI, Mumbai are strictly based on merit only through on-line centralised admission process as per the guidelines of Government of Maharashtra and are conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.

Further, for secured seat in VJTI in Computer Engineering. Considering the previous year cut off percentile you need to score minimum 98.5 or above in MHT CET 2021.

I hope that this will help

Hello Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well. Last year the cut off (MHT CET percentile) for OBC category was as follows in round 2 of MHT CET counselling to get admission in the above mentioned colleges was above 95 percentile.

Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances to get seat in CSE or IT in the preferred institutes. Cut off may increase or decrease depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

To check the previous year cut off click on the link given below

To know the institutes in which you have chances of getting seat you may use our MHT CET college predictor:

Dear Harsha,

Hope you are doing great,

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute is regarded as one of the top Government Engineering Colleges in Mumbai, and as a result, cutoffs are generally very high. If a student wishes to be admitted to VJTI, he or she must obtain a score of more than 99.99 percentile in the MHT CET examination (General Category). However, during the counselling round, some students get lucky and get admissions with significantly lower scores, but this is entirely dependent on luck.

Hey aspirant.

Yes.You can get admission in VJTI Mumbai with 90% scores in diploma in electronics. The eligibility for admission in the institution is just passing 12 th and a diploma degree in interested field. And your scores are more than sufficient for getting a seat.

All the best!!

Hello candidate,

Congratulations on getting St. Francis technology institute . You have got a decent college but i would suggest you to go for the vacancy round. Its very nice that you have got St. Francis technology institute but there is no harm in going for the vacancy round if you are getting a better college. This would be my personal opinion.

Thankyou!

COEP and VJTI are equally good for other branches, but for CS/IT, VJTI is the second best college in Maharashtra after IIT B.

Because VJTI is located in Mumbai, India's financial capital. All of the top companies come to VJTI for placements, and a few of them also come to COEP and PICT. However, VJTI provides more opportunities than these colleges. If you compare the placement statistics of VJTI and other colleges, you will notice that CS has the most opportunities at VJTI.VJTI is also visited by all of the world's top investment banks and financial services firms.Companies such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, CITI Bank, Barclays, Kotak, and Bank of America all visit VJTI. However, only a few of them visited COEP and PICT.

.

Veeramata Jijabai Technological Institute, stands on the top with a NIRF ranking of 71. so it is the best option among the three Institutions you have mentioned. Also it has a very big campus in terms of acres with 16 acres, when compared with the other two.hence VJTI is the better one among the others.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good enough not that great but it contains every essential component. The college classes are now fitted with acs and some with projectors too. There are labs with non working components so it is one cons. Overall its ok. The hostel now are renovated so has good condition and capacity.

Save campus with great facilities

College Infrastructure

Good Facilities are available in my Deportment. A decent atmosphere to study is also available. The infrastructure could be a little bit better because the quality of the furniture is not good. There are enough screens and a projector set up for e-learning also.

Balanced academics, and extra curricular activities

Verified Review

College Infrastructure

Since the college is over 100 years old, the infrastructure is not a strong point of the college, with CS, Textile, and IT departments being an exception. Yes, VJTI does provide hostel facilities for students, although not all students get the hostels. There are 2 hostels for B.Tech and Diploma, for both boys and girls. In addition, there is 1 hostel for M.Tech students. The M.Tech hostels are amazing, with facilities like geysers, cleaner washrooms, balconies, and lifts.
