Venkateshwara College of Education, Meerut Admission Process

Venkateshwara College of Education (VCED), Meerut, follows a merit-based admission process for its B.Ed. program, in accordance with norms set by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Admissions are primarily based on the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by a university nominated by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The academic session generally begins in July or August. Eligible candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university, securing a minimum percentage as required by regulatory authorities. Final selection is based on performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, subject to meeting the cut-off score specified by the college.

Application Process

The application process involves the following steps:

  1. Appear for the Entrance Exam: Candidates must take the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the designated university of Uttar Pradesh.

  2. Submit Application: After qualifying the exam, candidates can submit their applications to VCED. Forms are available on the college website or at the institute.

  3. Merit List: The college prepares a merit list based on entrance exam scores.

  4. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates are invited for document verification. Required documents include:

    • Joint Entrance Examination score card

    • 10th and 12th mark sheets

    • Bachelor’s degree certificates and mark sheets

    • Valid ID proof

    • Passport size photographs

  5. Admission Confirmation: Upon successful verification, candidates must pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.

Management Quota: Admissions under the management quota are done on a first-come-first-serve basis. Interested candidates can directly collect and submit the application form along with the required documents.
