Victoria College of Education, Bhopal Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

The State Government and the affiliated university make admission procedures open based on merit, whereby eligibility to admission is determined with performance obtained in qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests. Admissions usually take place in July or August. Admission processes may also include guidelines that have been earmarked for each program by the College in accordance with state government, university, and other related authorities. Academic programs are generally opened to new entrants in the preceding months of every academic year, which usually runs between August and September. All programs' candidates are then chosen based on their performance in the qualifying examination or entrance test. This is as per the policies of the state government and the university. The college attaches importance to academic merit in the process whereby the best aspirants are accepted into their programs.

Application Process

Victoria College of Education, Bhopal, generally includes the following processes:

1. Notification: The college announces the opening of the admission process through various media and its official website.

2. Application Form: Candidates should obtain and fill out the application form for their program of choice. This may either be accessed online or at the college campus.

3. Document Submission: Candidates will also be required to attach necessary documents to the fully completed application form. These may include:

• Marksheets of qualifying examinations
• Valid ID proof
• Passport size photographs
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Other documents required by college or other regulatory bodies

4. Entrance Examination: For those programs requiring an entrance test, candidates will be duly notified of when to attend the examination and the date on which it would be held.

5. Merit List Preparation: As per program requirements, merit lists would be created in terms of performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance tests. 

6. Counseling and Seat Allotment: Short-listing would call for a counseling session for seat allotment on the basis of merit and availability.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):- With an intake of 100 seats approved for the B. Ed program at Victoria College of Education, the admission for the B. Ed course is based on merit as per the marks obtained in qualifying examinations and/or entrance examinations. The process of selection follows the policies prescribed by State Government, U.T. Administration, and University.

B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education):- The number of seats approved for the B.P.Ed program is 100. The admission procedure of B.P.Ed is slightly extensive in comparison with other regular programs of the college. The selection process includes a written exam, sports proficiency test, physical fitness test, and aggregate marks scored in the qualifying examination. Selection is made based on the aggregate scores obtained in these components according to University/State Government/UT Administration norms.

M.Ed (Master of Education): Victoria College of Education has an intake of 50 seats for the M.Ed program. However, that admission to M.Ed takes place on merit considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination depending on the State Government, U.T. Administration, and the University."

D. E. L. Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed program has a sanctioned intake of 50 seats. This course is merit-based admission, which depends on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or by entrance examination. The selection is based on state government, U.T. Administration, and the university policies applying to it.
