Facilities are good enough wherever we work in the college. Wi-Fi is not allowed for students but is provided in labs when we're working. Classrooms are good and meet students' requirements. As per the hostellers, the hostel facilities are good too.
As our VJIT doesn't have any hostel. It is being now constructed. As far as our infrastructure is concerned, it's good with well-equipped classrooms and projectors. In each class, easily 100 students can sit at a time. We have spacious labs for every course.
There was Wi-Fi entire the campus, a library for different branches of students, labs, seminar halls, an auditorium, project labs, and well-ventilated classrooms with AC. The hostel facilities included good and clean rooms with attached bathrooms, tasty food in the mess, and a canteen with reasonable prices, as well as water facilities. Medical services were available 24/7 for the students, with a qualified doctor and ambulance facility. Every weekend, there was a sports meet for both indoor and outdoor games.
Hello!
So With a TS ICET 2025 rank of 6000 and being a BC-B girl candidate your chances of securing an MCA seat in VNR VJIET are less.
It is one of the top institute.Previous year ranks for BC B girl category rank closed around 5000.Getting seat in phase one of the counselling process is not possible but In phase two or spot round you might get a seat.
It is very unlikely you will get into VJTI Mumbai with an 87.73 percentile in JEE Main. VJTI, a highly competitive engineering college, typically requires much higher scores, especially for popular branches like Computer Science and Information Technology. Cutoffs for top branches often exceed the 97-99 percentile range.
VJTI's Admission Process:
VJTI mainly relies on the MHT-CET exam for admissions, with JEE Main scores also considered for a small percentage of seats (often the All India Quota).
Cutoff Trends:
In 2023, VJTI's cutoff for B.Tech in Computer Engineering (through MHT-CET) ranged from 99.9 to 99.95 for the General Home State category.
Your Percentile:
An 87.73 percentile in JEE Main likely translates to a relatively higher All India Rank (AIR), which would make admission to VJTI's top branches very challenging.
Alternative Options:
While direct admission into VJTI's most sought-after branches is unlikely, you might consider exploring other engineering colleges with lower cutoffs or potentially lower-demand branches within VJTI itself.
In summary, your percentile puts you outside the typical range for VJTI admission, especially for the most competitive programs. You should focus on exploring other colleges and branches that align with your score and preferences.
Hello,
Gaining admission to Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) Mumbai in the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch as a general category candidate without a domicile certificate is quite competitive. VJTI primarily admits students based on their scores from the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) and JEE Main. For candidates from outside the domicile, the cutoff ranks are usually higher than those for local candidates.
MHT CET Cutoff Trends:
In 2023, the closing ranks for the ECE branch at VJTI Mumbai were:
General Category (Home State): 1,471
General Category (Other State): 1,136
These numbers show that the cutoff ranks for non-domicile candidates (Other State) are generally more competitive than those for domicile candidates.
You can check the cutoff at Career360: https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/veermata-jijabai-technological-institute-mumbai/cut-off
JEE Main Cutoff Trends:
VJTI Mumbai also takes JEE Main scores into account for admissions. While specific cutoff ranks for non-domicile candidates in the ECE branch are not explicitly provided, the general trend indicates that a higher JEE Main percentile is necessary for non-domicile candidates to gain admission.
Estimated Percentile and Marks:
Based on trends from previous years, non-domicile candidates aiming for the ECE branch at VJTI Mumbai should aim for a JEE Main percentile of around 99.5 or higher. This typically translates to a score of about 250-270 marks out of 300. Keep in mind that these figures are estimates and can fluctuate each year due to factors like the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and seat availability.
Recommendations:
Prepare Strategically: Concentrate on enhancing your skills in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to achieve a high percentile in JEE Main.
Stay Updated: Regularly visit the official VJTI Mumbai website and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra portal for the most current information on admission processes and cutoff trends.
