Hi Aspirant,
AP Shah College of Engineering is a good choice since it is located in your hometown so it will be better and you have to travel less distances to your colleges which will be beneficial for you. Moreover the college has a decent placements rates.Companies like TCS,Wipro Cognizant visit here for recruiting students. However there is lack of playing ground in the college. The college offers almost 85% placements and highest salry package being 6LPA.
It is a good choice.
Hope it helps!!
It's hard to predict percentile cutoff as cutoff depends on several factors like number of students appeared, toughness of question paper etc. But as per prediction depending on previous few years cutoff you have a great opportunity to get admission in CSE or IT branch in VIT Mumbai. As previous few years cutoff closes within 90 Percentile.
Hope it would be helpful.
Yes, I believe having a score of 88 in MHCET having EWS Advantage you might have fair chances in securing a seat in any stream at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology Wadala. For more information and college prediction do follow the link below

Hey friend!
Hope you are doing fine in the pandemic . On the basis of yourk rank , I can say that you may easily get desired branch on the basis of last year cut-off . Also there are no reservations or reserved seats in this college as it is private .
Try checkout the link below for last year's cutoff and more details about the college
All the best friend!
In terms of placement both the universities provide good exposure but the major difference is that Chandigarh University is a Government College, whereas VIT is a Private College.

As far as placement are concerned, both the colleges have almost similar placements but I'll still prioritize vidyalankar institute of technology Mumbai over LNCT Bhopal because it has got a decent atmosphere and infrastructure as well. The participation in extra curricular and cultural activities is also great. The fees also has vast difference. LNCT Bhopal has 11.38 lakhs fees for 4 years and vit Mumbai had around approx 5.5 lakhs for the full course.

As per the colleges that you've mentioned, VJTI tops in Mumbai for computer science field. After that the second best as per the reviews and placements is Kj Somaiya college of Engineering. It has got some decent placements and a great campus with good infrastructure as well. The next best in Swami Vivekananda college of engineering. The cutoffs usually for VJTI CSE is in the range of 180 marks and Kj somaiya is in the range of 150 marks and swami Vivekananda is in the range of 140 marks.

Best wishes. Thank-you.
All the facilities are nice and friendly behavior in all department. College has a Wi-Fi facility and labs, a Chemistry lab, a Physics lab, an Engineering workshop, and an IT workshop. There are two libraries. The hostel is not good and the food quality in the hostel is the worst.
The infrastructure of Institute of Engineering and Technology is very cool and calm. The facilities available for our course we have the best labs with Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms are clean and maintained. We have a big central library with a silent environment.
Good Wi-Fi connection in campus and canteen good and well-maintained labs. Library: well-stocked with books, journals, and e-resources and quite space for study. Hostel: good hostel, 24/7 security. Canteen: offers snacks, lunch, and other stuff. Food quality: good. Medical Facilities: available. Sports and games: outdoor like football, cricket, basketball; indoor like table tennis, chess, and separate gym in the college.
