VIPW, Vijayawada is a well-known pharmacy teaching college. VIPW conducts a variety of pharmaceutical courses at the UG and PG levels. VIPW admission procedure is to identify worthy candidates through a variety of entrance exams, to offer a competitive and fair choice procedure.
VIPW's admission procedure usually runs parallel to the academic year, and the majority of programmes are available in the fall semester. Undergraduate programmes such as B.Pharma and Pharm.D are admitted through the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). Postgraduate programmes such as M.Pharm programmes accept scores from the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) or the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET).
VIPW application process is different for different courses
Eligibility criteria differ for the programme. For B.Pharma, 10+2 with Mathematics or Biology and Physics and Chemistry. M.Pharma students should be a degree holder in B.Pharma from a known institution. Pharm.D needs 10+2 with Biology or Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, whereas Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate can be done by B.Pharma graduates.

VIPW offers a 4-year B.Pharma programme based on ranks in AP EAMCET. VIPW intake for the programme is approved at 100. Lateral entry to 2nd year of B.Pharma can be gained through Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET).
VIPW provides M.Pharma courses in three specialisations, namely Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutical Analysis. Admission is done based on GPAT or AP PGECET scores. Counselling for seat allotment is held as part of the VIPW admission procedure.
VIPW provides 6-year Pharm.D course takes candidates based on their AP EAMCET ranks.VIPW has a sanctioned intake of 30 seats for the course. The course includes both class room training and extensive practical experience.
The 3-year course is meant for students of B.Pharma. VIPW admissions are through AP PGECET with a sanctioned intake of 10 seats. The course provides advanced pharmaceutical learning and research experience.
