VVS College of Education was set up in the year 2007. It is an affiliated college established in East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. This co-educational institution is spread over an area of 2 acres and is meant for future educators. It has been given approval by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to be able to operate two full-time education programmes of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). The VVS College of Education trains 40 students under 8 members of faculty, therefore ensuring an intense learning environment among nascent teachers. VVS College of Education is offering only two courses, the B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. courses, that are considered to be for two years' full-time programmes. D.El.Ed has an approved enrolment of 50 students, while B.Ed also has an approved enrolment of 50 students, which means 100 seats in total for both. These courses would, therefore, be designed to equip a student with the kind of knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in teaching, providing them with a combination of theory and practice.

The duration of the B.Ed. course is two years full-time degree and sanctioned intake of 50 students by the VVS College of Education for the B.Ed. admission process. VVS College of Education admission would be merit-based, depending on performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The mode can be in any procedure established as per the policy of the state government and the university. This course prepares students with the knowledge and skills for a fruitful teaching career.
D.El.Ed. is also a full-time two-year programme, and the full intake is 50. D. El. Ed., like B.Ed., enrolls students based on merit, considering scores obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. Moreover, the selection process shall follow the appropriate measures by either the state government or the UT Administration. The diploma aims to prepare students for teaching at the elementary level.
