VDCH Jodhpur Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Vyas Dental College and Hospital (VDCH), Jodhpur, is one of the top dental colleges in Rajasthan. The college provides undergraduate and postgraduate dental courses. VDCH has a stringent admission process that is meant to choose the best candidates for its dental courses.

The VDCH admission process is mainly conducted on the basis of national-level entrance tests. For the BDS course, the admissions are carried out through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET-UG). The MDS courses employ the scores of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS (NEET MDS) for the admissions.

The VDCH academic year usually starts in August-September, and the admission process begins a few months prior to that. The specific dates for admissions coincide with the NEET exam schedule, which is typically conducted once a year. Application Process

The application process for VDCH differs according to the course:

For BDS Program:

3. Select VDCH as your preferred college while undergoing the counseling process.
4. If allotted a seat, report to VDCH for document verification and admission formalities.

For MDS Programs:

1. Qualify the NEET MDS examination.
2. Register for the state-level or central counseling process for MDS admissions.
3. For management quota (15% NRI/NRI-sponsored seats), contact the college directly for the application process.
4. Participate in the counseling process and select VDCH and your preferred specialization.
5. If seated, finalize the process of admission to VDCH by document verification and payment of fees.

Degree wise Admission Process

BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery):

The selection to the 5-year BDS course at VDCH solely depends on the performance of the candidate in the NEET-UG exam. The college provides 100 seats for this course. The eligibility criteria are the successful completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.

MDS (Master of Dental Surgery):
VDCH provides MDS courses in different specializations with 3 seats for each. The admission to MDS courses is through NEET MDS marks.
