To get YCCE Nagpur admissions for the B.Tech programme, the candidate should appear for the MHT CET or JEE Mains examination. For the YCCE Nagpur admissions to M.Tech course, the candidate must take the GATE examination, and for the Ph.D. course, they should appear for the PET examination.

• Registration by the candidate for CAP is Mandatory / Compulsory, for admission against Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Seats as well as Institute Level Quota (ILQ) Seats,

• After online registration, candidates should take a printout of the application form & visit one of the Facilitation centres (FC) notified on the DTE website, for confirmation of the application form & document verification.

• Candidates must carry all Original documents for verification while visiting FC.

• Candidates must take an acknowledgement from FC after confirmation of the application form.

• Only those candidates will be included in the Merit list prepared by the competent authorities, who have confirmed their applications at FC.

A) CAP Round Admission :

• 80% of seat admission is allotted through CAP rounds as per the guidelines published by SCET Cell / DTE, Government of Maharashtra, on the website www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in.

B) Institute Level Quota Admission:

• The Institute level merit list (PCML / FCML) for the Candidates shall be prepared amongst the application received against 20% ILQ quota based on Merit number assigned by Competent Authority based on marks secured by the candidate in MHT-CET conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra or JEE (Main) marks (As per the guidelines published by SCET Cell / DTE, Government of Maharashtra).
