EdX gives two different tracks for enrolling in the self-paced course; verified and audit. The former will give the learners unlimited access and a certificate of completion and the latter provide them with a limited duration of access to the programme. 

There are 2 tracks that Edx offers and candidates can choose only 1 track to complete the course. The names of these tracks are verified as audit tracks. Both these give access to the course materials but the verified track has unlimited access to the course whereas limited access is offered if the verified track is chosen by the candidates.

Robot Development

The length of the Robot Development by edX is six weeks. It comes under the field of engineering and uses some psychology theories too. The course is an Università Degli Studi di Napoli Federico II offering, in collaboration with edX. A part of this programme has been developed by Professor Matthew Schlesinger.

Also, the course is of intermediate level and features online delivery. As there are no time-related restrictions, you can learn at your own pace. The Robot Development certification syllabus covers a wide range of topics from principles of developmental robotics, acquisition of cognitive skills, and sensorimotor in robots to its applications.

Furthermore, video transcripts of the Robot Development online course are available. The programme is free to learn, but you can pay the required fee to avail of the shareable certificate. Pupils related to the field of robotics, engineering, or psychology can pursue this training. Also, students in their graduation’s final year or post-graduation in any of the following fields - robotics, computer science, anthropology, psychology, or cognitive sciences are suitable for this programme. edX courses have a self-directed training model that comes with limited access during the audit track and unlimited access to the course materials when the verified track is selected.
