HELLO,

With 55 percentile in CET under the MS category , chances in top Mumbai colleges are minimal. However, you can still get admission in some private or new colleges in the region.

Your chances of admission depends on a few important factors:-

1.A 55 percentile in MH CET is considered on the lower side as most top and mid tier Mumbai colleges are generally close at much higher percentiles

2.As a MS candidate , you may be eligible for a significant number of seats reserved for students in government and aided institutions

3.With this 55 percentile you have better chances in lesser know private or newly established engineering colleges in the Mumbai region because chances in top government and reputed private colleges are very low

4.You can look for colleges in nearby regions like Navi Mumbai , Thane , Palghar where cutoffs are slightly lower

5.Try through management quota or institute level seats if you are particular about studying in Mumbai
