Can homeopathy pursuing student eligible to give MCAT to get into a medical course(MD) in USA

akshaevelin27_9770651 Student Expert 10th Jul, 2019

Hello aspirant,

Homeopathy is not fully recognized in the United States officially. You won't work at a hospital or have the privileges of MD or DO physicians. In the United States, this will take 2-3 years, and to get in, you will have to take the MCAT or GRE as well as have a college degree before you start. Hope this will be helpful.

Good Luck!

Can I add my IP marks instead of chemistry marks so that I can be eligible for JEE because then my % will be 79% ?

ATIN KATOCH 30th May, 2019

Dear Faiza,

It's not about including or excluding subjects.

When you register or fill u the form for Jee, they only ask u the marks Of PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY AND MATHS  thus leaving u no choice to include any other subject.

Ronit Jain 30th May, 2019

Students must have secured minimum 50% marks in PCB group for general candidates and 45% (for General-PH) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates). Since you belong to the SC category and have scored 40% in PCB, you will be eligible for the neet counseling process, provided that you qualify NEET.

Hello,

Yes you are eligible for the exam as you come under OBC. The minimum aggregate percentage required for you to be eligible for NEET is 40% in theory subject marks for OBC category. Also please check if your aggregate for only theory marks in more than 40%. If yes then you are good to go. Hope this helps!

my rank is 55k nd my caste is obc ncl cut off of nit silchar is 58k for mechanical,62k for civil ,but i m nt eligible for seat alotment y?

Ritwik 8th Jul, 2019

Well the question is are you not eligible for JOSAA counselling? Or did you not get your seat alloted at the reporting centre? Or is it that you are participating in JOSAA but you did not get a seat alloted even when you are well within the cutoff?

I would like you to check the following

1) Your given category in the JOSAA form

2) See whether you are not gettig confused with home state quota and other state quota

3) All your certificates especially caste certificate

4) Your home state eligibility

5) Whether you filled all the choices properly

And let's hope that your problem gets sorted out.
