i have passed my 12th in 2019 and now i am first year bsc student 2021-2022 session so am i eligible for KVPY test? can i give KVPY 2022 before completing my first year. Please let me know.

Khush Singh 15th Dec, 2021

Hello,

KVPY examination can only be given when you are in the first year of your Basic Science course. The group is called SB. The eligibility as per the KVPY 2021official website is provided below:

Due to prevailing COVID-19 situation, as one-time measure, students who have passed  XII Standard Board Examination and eligible to enroll in the 1st year B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. during the academic year 2021–22 are eligible to appear for the aptitude test. The student should produce a study certificate of 1st year  B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S once they are selected as a provisional KVPY fellow. Moreover, the fellowship of the students selected under this stream will be activated only if they join an undergraduate  program in Basic sciences (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S) in the academic year 2021-22 and secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in 1st year of B.Sc./B.S./B.Math./B.Stat./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S.

So technically you aren't eligible for the KVPY examination.

Anurag Khanna 15th Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Yes definitely you can get some self financing medical colleges, considering your All Christian minority quota.

But note that it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.

So according to the data, on such marks and category you have good chances of getting self financing medical colleges in Kerala under state quota according to previous year's cut-off.

As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you have chances in following colleges :-

Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre, Thiruvalla

Travancore Medical College, Kollam

Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, Thrissur

MES Academy of Medical Sciences, Malaparamba

Amala institute of Medical Sciences, Amalanagar

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

NEET 2021 Cutoff Kerala - Check Kerala MBBS/BDS cutoff here (careers360.com)

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

Aashiketa 13th Dec, 2021

Hi, since TSECET score card is valid only for a year you will have to re-appear for it. Yes, you can re-enter and continue your studies any time you want. If you are not confident about this exam you can give other exams that you are comfortable with. There are many colleges that conduct their own entrance exams so you can check those out too. Below is a link to an article that will help you. If you still have any doubts feel free to comment. Hope this helps. All the best!

how to register for snap exam 2019

Abhinav Pandey 10th Dec, 2021

hello student,

  1. A candidate can appear for a maximum of two tests for SNAP 2021. If a candidate appears for two tests, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation and there will be no normalization. A rigorous process that has been statistically tested will be administered to ensure that unique types of questions are framed under a specific topic across the question papers. The normal spread will ensure that there is no unfair advantage to candidates who opt for any specific test / multiple tests. This will ensure normalisation of the spread of questions across sections. Furthermore, the question papers will be normalised for the level of difficulty across all three sets. No correspondence regarding this will be entertained.
  2. Register for the SNAP online entrance test online on the website SNAP 2021 (from August 31 to 30 November 2021). Note – Any change in the online registration form (except name, date of birth, category, test city preferences and test date) will be entertained only up to the closing date of registration i.e. 30 November 2021. No change shall be permitted after the closing date under any circumstances.
  3. Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo at the time of online registration for SNAP Test. (Your photograph should not be more than three months old).
  4. Ensure that the information you have filled in is accurate.

    *No change in name, date of birth, category, test city and test date requests will be entertained once a candidate has paid her/his SNAP Test 2021 registration fee.

B. SNAP TEST REGISTRATION FEE PAYMENT PROCESS

A candidate may pay through

  1. Billdesk Payment Gateway
  2. Easebuzz Payment Gateway
  3. Indian Bank Payment Gateway
  4. Demand Draft.

Pay the SNAP Test registration fee of Rs.1950/- per test from August 31, 2021, to November 30, 2021, as per the instructions mentioned on the website for Payment of the SNAP Test registration fee.

NOTE – SNAP Test registration fee and programme registration fee of the Institute is non-refundable and non-transferable.

iv) PAYMENT THROUGH DEMAND DRAFT:

Submit a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 1950/- per test from any Nationalized Bank in favour of the “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in the ‘Make Payment’ Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at,

Symbiosis Test Secretariat

Symbiosis International (Deemed University)

Gram : Lavale, Tal : Mulshi, Dist : Pune - 412115

Phone : +91-20-61936226/27

The Symbiosis Test Secretariat (STS) will authenticate the details of the Demand Draft and will send you an email confirming the payment. Only after the realisation of payment, would you be able to view your Admit Card.

Note –

  • Please note that STS will not be responsible for non-delivery or any delay on the part of courier / postal services.
  • The DD should reach STS by 5:00 pm on November 30, 2021. If the DD reaches after this, it will not be considered and will be returned to the candidate.

  • It is also mandatory to pay the registration fee of the desired programme(s) before the closing date of the programme registration fee payment of that/those programme(s). The said fee must be paid through the SNAP website only ( snaptest.org ).
  • For disputes between a candidate and the STS, the candidate should first send an email to the registrar with details about her/his grievance. If the candidate is not satisfied with the decision of the Registrar, s/he can appeal to the Ombudsman of the University. Information regarding the same is available on the website. All disputes between the candidate and STS in this regard are subject to the legal jurisdiction of Pune.
  • Any attempt to impersonate or indulge in any malpractice, identified at any stage of the admission process would disqualify the candidate from the admission processes to all PG programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and may also lead to appropriate legal action as deemed fit .
  • SNAP Test 2021 Score will be valid only for admission to select programmes of SIU for the academic year 2022-23 . Admissions to the select programmes at SIU are strictly based on merit, assessment of individual performance in SNAP and other processes prescribed by the University. if i cleared 12th from cbse in 2019 but didnt take any attempt of jee mais,will i be eligible to take jee advance if i take 12th again from NIOS board.

Anurag Khanna 10th Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

No, now even if you appear again for your class 12th examination either through NIOS or through any other board, then also you won't be considered as eligible for JEE-Main or JEE-Advance 2022. This is because only your first attempt in class 12th examination is to be counted to determine your eligibility for JEE-Main or JEE-Advance. So as per the current eligibility criteria you were only eligible for JEE-Main 2019, 2020 and 2021 and for JEE-Advance 2019 and 2020.

Even if you did not appear for JEE-Main for any of the aforesaid attempts then also you will not be allowed to sit for further attempts.

To appear for JEE-Advance one must qualify JEE-Main and only then the candidate will be eligible to appear for JEE-Advance otherwise not.

To qualify JEE-Main one has to clear the JEE-Main qualifying cut-offs which are to be released every year along with the JEE-Main result. For this year it is mentioned below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

You can check more details about JEE-Main 2021 cut-offs from the link given below :-
