How is the first year in amrita university?[as per academic terms].is it tiresome?can an average student cope up with the syllabus that is taught?

Abhishek Roy 7th Jun, 2021

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has one of the best relaxed and student friendly curriculums among other Private Universities. The First Year hence had minor load with many labs, courses, tutorials, clubs and activities, though in Online Mode, I dont know how much of load will yet be prevalent. However, you must grab every opportunity you get in your first year and lay a strong foundation to your next 3-4 years of respective Undergraduate Course.

is it necessary to do foundation courses other than academic subjects to become ias or is it enough any degree course?

Abhishek Roy 7th Jun, 2021

Graduation in any Degree is enough for satisfying the Academic Eligibility of UPSC CSE Examination. Now wonder, you see an almost fair share of Engineering, Science, Commerce, Arts, Medical graduates & postgraduates getting through UPSC Each Year. Of course, you do require a strong and strategical preparation for UPSC CSE.

Once you clear your UPSC and get your name on the Merit List, youll have a Foundation Course under DoPT/Training/GoI, at LBSNAA before moving to your respective Training Centers for different Services, except IAS who stay at LBSNAA for further training.

how is the academic year in 2020-2021 during covid at srm ramapuram campus?how are classes conducted

Nitin Mereddy 16th Jul, 2021

Hello.

The classes at srm ramapuram campus were conducted in online mode like all the other educational institutions.

Despite of the branch and year in which students study all the classes have been conducted in the virtual mode.

Even the mid term exams and end semester exams have been conducted in the online mode.

Well, the mid term exams are conducted in the form of google sheets where the end semester exams are conducted in virtual written mode .

Where the student has to sit infront of the camera logging in into the college site or room and write the exam and submit his/her answer through  google clasrooms.
