when is the admission for b.ed for the academic year 2021-2022 starts...what is the procedure to get the application??

Kritika Chopra 28th Jun, 2021

Hello Preeti,

The B.Ed. admission and application procedure is different for different college/institution. There are universities that conduct specific entrance exam for B.Ed. degree in order to take up admissions whereas some other university offer admissions directly on the basis of merit and not through some entrance examination. Thus, the processes are totally based on the institution.

Top entrances exams which you can take to pursue B.Ed. degree are:

  1. IPU CET
  2. BHU UET
  3. CG Pre B.Ed.
  4. TUEE
  5. DU B.Ed.
  6. HPU B.Ed.
  7. MP Pre B.Ed.
  8. IGNOU B.Ed.

There are many other B.Ed. entrance exam in India. Application forms of some of them are already out, you can check it on their official website.

FMS, MDI, NMIMS, XLRI, JBIMS, SPJIMR, current batch academic profile ike How Many students study in these colleges who score 71- 80% or 81-90% their 10th 12th and Graduation

Abhishek Roy 26th Jun, 2021

You do have a great number of students having an average academic record in the above Top Management Institutes as well as at IIMs. Some even have a Poor Graduation Score, but again they have the qualities and communication skills to impress at an interview and perform brilliantly in CAT, XAT, NMAT and other Top MBA Entrance Examinations, to overweigh their Poor Past Academic Record.

I personally know one of my seniors at college, having around 80-90% in 10/12 and a 7 CGPA in Graduation, ended up with 99.91 in CAT and Cracked IIML and a couple of more Good IIMs.

I have scored 88.6 in 10th and 58 in 12th expecting 7.0 in graduation (non-engg) and belongs to OBC. So according to this academic backgroud can i get into FMS Delhi and how much percentile in need to score in CAT 2021 ?

Manasvini B 25th Jun, 2021

Hello Aspirant ,

You can definitely get into FMS if you work hard and get good percentile in CAT. Your 10th score is good but 12th and undergrad is comparatively less , however FMS doesn't give so much weightage to past academics and work experience compared to the rest of the other B- Schools. You have to be in the NC-OBC category to get reservation. The CAT percentile that you require would be anywhere from 95 and above. Getting 97 percentile and more is much easier to convert and wouldn't have to worry so much about GD-PI compared to a person who gets 94 percentile.

Hope this helps you! Good luck!

I got 92.5% in class 9th, 93.4% in class 10th, 78.4% in class 11th, and Im awaiting my class 12th results. Ive cleared Pre-RMO during my class 10th. Will such academic credentials be considerable for foreign universities? I plan to sit for SAT and ACT in near future. Whatll be a safe score for me

Akshita Dhiman 25th Jun, 2021

Hi There,

Foreign universities consider many factors before admitting a candidate. Your SAT score depends on the national average. As per the statistics, the year 2018 had an average score of 1068. So how much should you score? If your score is well above this average, the more likely it is for you to get the college of your choice.

Even if a candidate scores below this average number, it can be compensated by a standout college application. So what should a college application entail?

Your college application should traverse through your high school career path. Good grades, achievements, extracurricular activities, etc., Therefore, your Pre-RMO is certainly an achievement, so yes it can be added to your college application.

But even if you into a college with a low score some colleges might ask you to enroll in some courses initially (to test the college readiness of a candidate).

Now, extracurricular activities play an important part in your college application as the admission officer’s critiques them thoroughly. It is solely done to know a candidate better, their personality and the things that they care about. Extra curricular activities usually involve any volunteer work, leadership qualities (if you were the school captain or something along those lines).

Talking about the safe score, we shouldn’t just depend on making our college application perfect. Your score on the standardized tests is as much important as other factors, so do no neglect that. The higher your score, the better are your chance of you getting the college of your choice. Usually, the colleges accept candidates that have a score between the 25 th and 75 th percentile.

You can search for the colleges of your choice here: https://www.princetonreview.com/college-education

Figuratively speaking, your SAT score should be anything above 1200 and ACT scores anything above 24. But it’s always best to aim higher and give it your best shot, because you’ll have a myriad of college options to choose from.

As per now the NET exams are postponned due to covid scenario. Now until and unless the NET examination is conducted and result releases the admission for phD will not be released. So I would recommend you to keep some patience and wait for the NET 2021 updates. What academic IELTS is easier more than general training IELTS ?

Souhrid Sarkar 8th May, 2021
Hello Dear,

IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is an English Language Proficiency Test required to be taken by international candidates where English is the main language of communication.
IELTS is accepted for university admissions are the UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA, and Canada .

The two different types of IELTS are more similar than they are different .There are Listening and Reading sections with 40 questions each and a Writing section with two tasks along with an IELTS Speaking interview, these two versions of the IELTS have Writing sections that are half the same .

Difference between IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training :
All of the differences lie in IELTS Reading and IELTS Writing .The IELTS General Training Reading passages are shorter on average. The passages are also more varied, covering more work and living subject matter. And in Writing , the first GT task is far less academic; you write a letter instead of summarising a scholarly source.

With that being said, the answer to the question you asked is the General Training IELTS is probably easier than the Academic IELTS.

You can follow the official website of IELTS to get a more clear idea along with practice sets.
Official website : https://www.ielts.org/

Hope it helps
Thank you !!!

please tell me about Academic IELTS and General training IELTS.

pdwords Student Expert 8th May, 2021
Hello,

The eligibility criteria for IELTS iscandidates need to be above 16 years, andhave a valid passport. There is no such educational qualification or aggregate for that matter, IELTS is of two types, one for academic purpose and another is for work purpose/migration,one is for academic purpose like for pursuing higher studies in an English speaking country and another one is general training which is mainly for work purpose or migration, IELTS is basically to test the proficiency of candidate in English language in speaking, listening, writing, reading. The exam Pattern for General and Academic is same, the only difference lies in reading and writing sections. The speaking session is conducted in different slot while the writing, reading, listening are conducted in one slot all together, to know more details regarding this visit our page at https://studyabroad.careers360.com/exams/ielts
