Can i get a call from IIM C,K if low academic score class 10/12/graduation are 72/68/74.Any chance be there

Anurag Khanna 28th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See your academic record is average so you need to get little higher percentile in CAT to get either IIM Calcutta or IIM Kozhikode as these IIMs are known as top IIMs and there fore the cut-offs are also quite high. So in order to get a call from either of the IIMs you need to secure your percentile at least 98 or more.

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's selection results and only CAT percentile but while shortlisting of candidates for WAT/GD-PI round academic criteria of candidate also comes in play means your academic performance in class 10th and 12th, you graduation percentage, graduation background and Job experience is also considered for admission to IIMs and other B-Schools in India and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To check the cut-off of all IIMs and other B-schools, kindly check out the link given below :-

You can also use CAT Pathfinder to know your chances to get call from IIMs or other B-Schools :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

will the entire academic year 2020-21 will be treated oficially as a single academic year with only online lectures and 1 assessment exam at the end in schools n colleges

Anuj More 29th Oct, 2020

Dear Candidate,

It is difficult to give you an estimate of the question you have asked. It all depends on the decisions our state & central governments take in future. The situation in some places is different than others(considering the pandemic). Our Government is taking decision based on daily numbers & not thinking too far ahead. As the cases deteoriate, they may try to open the colleges & schools. This is all about future. We can just estimate & predict, but we can't say surely.

Thanks.

will 2020-21 full academic year will be taught online with just 1exam at the end for assessment in Maharashtra

Karam Vir 18th Oct, 2020

Hi,

There is no such official information released in this regards. Schools, colleges and universities have been shut down due to the spread of COVID-19 Virus. Many states have taken the decision to reopen the schools in the month of January by seeing the prevailing conditions of less cases. However, it particularly depends upon the state government, because they cannot take a risk for opening school amid COVID-19 pandemic. If situation improves, surely schools will open but guidelines for CoVID-19 has to be followed strictly.

Hello , I have allotted seat in VIPs for BBA in 2nd shift but I want the 1st shift of same college so I have floated the seat and waiting for upgardation in shift 1 . So I have floated the seat then also I have to.pay the academic fees or after freezing the seat i have to.pay the fee?

Sohamsengupta8 19th Nov, 2020

Hello student

You have allotted BBA seat in 2nd shift but you are waiting for first shift for study in BBA. Then you have taken the decision for waiting and floating for the first shift shift for study in BBA.

You have  paid for the second shift which may be adjusted for first shift BBA course with prior intimation  from your side feeling up the conditions and norms as per college rule provides.

If you freeze your seat for better college take consent of the college and feeling up the norms you can apply for refund of fees which will be not forfeited at all.

Hope this will be helpful for your expectation of choice for admission in BBA.

In order to get the best possible College, it is very crucial to make a well-organized preference order. For making the sequence of preference it is always recommended to put the top colleges on first. It is always equally important to arrange colleges based on your interest and passion. So to make preference order for NIT+system you can put the top NITs/IIITs and top branches at the first.
