Students who did aeronautical engineering can appear for SSC CGL Exam or any other govenment exam if yes , then pls suggest?

Anuj Kumar 5th Oct, 2021

Hi,

SSC-CGL requires bachelor degree from any recognised Institute. It doesn't ask for specific branch. So if you are doing Graduation in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognised Institute then you are eligible to apply for SSC -CGL. Same goes for other government exams like UPSC-Civil Services, UPSC-CAPF ,etc.

I hope this will answer your query.

Thanks!!!!

I got 41600 can I get free seat in aeronautical engineering

Ayush Roy 5th Oct, 2021

Hello Kadambari. Your profile says you are from Karnataka, so I think you are talking about KCET. You mentioned your KCET Rank but didn't mention anything about your caste. So, I assume you belong to General Merit category and your 10+2 Education was Kannada Medium.

Based on previous years' cutoff trend and your performance in this year, you have good chances in few Private institutes that offer BE/B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, namely:

  1. Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore (Last Years Cutoff Rank: 52816)
  2. AMC Engineering College, Bangalore (Last Years Cutoff Rank: 73247)
  3. MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore (Last Years Cutoff Rank: 104139)
  4. Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangalore (Last Years Cutoff Rank: 109990)
  5. ACS College of Engineering, Bangalore  (Last Years Cutoff Rank: 149026)

and few more...

To know your college admission chances based on your Caste, Area Type, etc. & exam result and to get your KCET personalised report with Top Predicted Colleges delivered on mail, I encourage you to use KCET 2021 College Predictor:

Rohith Miryala 4th Oct, 2021

Hey Santhosh,

I actually suggest you to check your query before posting. Because the sentence does not determine any question. If I attempt it by taking it as Can we write ECET to acquire Aeronautical Engineering ? The answer stands out to be Yes.If you are willing to join any branch in B.tech, A Diploma certificate holder must undergo ECET examination to join as Lateral entry student and continue to study with the regular ones. Based on the Reservations and your rank your seat will be confirmed.

I recently qualified my Ts EAMCET and I went for my counselling and I allotted seat in MLR institute of technology (MLID) in branch Aeronautical Engineering is this clg is good for it or I should try for IARE??

Rohith Miryala 2nd Oct, 2021

Hello Dimpubannu,

For answering your question I need some information regarding :

  • Your Rank
  • Reservation (if any)
  • Local/Non local status

These are the basic details are required for me to answer your question. The only thing I got to know is, you are interested in Aeronautical Engineering and got a seat in MLR. If you ask me which one is most preferable for Aeronautical then I would say IARE. So, If your rank is below 20,000 (In open category) you can have chances.
