Hello aspirant,
With 900 category rank it is impossible to get NIPER ahmedabad or any NIPER. You need to have category rank at least 200-300 to get NIPER because the total seat in NIPER is less.
So better to try for other colleges/try NIPER next year.

Hello,
If you are resident of Orissa then you will easily get cse branch in this college. Even if you speak and write oriya you can get admission to this college. State candidates are benefited greatly.
However if you are not a state candidate then you need to apply for counselling and according to your rank in the state merit list you will be admitted to the college.
Unfortunately you won't be getting anything in National Instituted of Technology Silchar as you belong to General category and your rank is not up to the mark. However, you can apply to some other well known colleges which will provide you good exposure along with decent placements at the end of your program. Some of these are:
Vellore Institute of Technology, Bhopal SRM Chennai Lovely professional University

Dear Aspirant,
The percentage of marks that you'll need keeps varying every year based on the difficulty level of the paper and the preparation level of the students around you. But looking at the previous year trends we can say that you'll need atleast 70 - 75 percentage to get in top 50 of your category rank. Again, this is a prediction and may vary if the difficulty of the paper changes.
Hope this helps.
