The caste certificate that I have is SBC (it comes under OBC under central list) issued by Maharashtra state. Will I have to separately produce central obc certificate to avail OBC category benefits under AIQ NEET counseling or the one which I already have will work?

rehan18alam Student Expert 23rd Sep, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Even if your category comes under central list and you have the certificate issued by the state, it is not valid for the admission at the ALL INDIA LEVEL.

For that purpose you need to have a central certificate which has the same format throughout the country.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

Kanith Sawkar 2nd Nov, 2020

Hey aspirant,

As per the marks you have scored in NEET 2020 and based on previous year's cutoff for Maharashtra state quota seats, you seem to have good chances of admission at Indian Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Jalna.

To know more about your chances of admission based on your NEET score, check out NEET College Predictor 2020 in the link below:

is all india counselling related to state counseling

Shruti Smaranika 2nd Nov, 2020

Hello aspirant,

No, all India counselling is not at all related to state counselling.  All India counselling and state counselling happens separately. The counselling takes place at two different levels. This is because it is done under the two distinctive and concerned authorities. And, the authorities will decide the counselling according to their prescribed rules and regulations.

Hope, this helps you.

IM getting 512 marks in neet.i belong to general category. should i register for all india counseling ? is there any chances of getting a govt. college through all india counselling with this score ?

Swarnabha Das 1st Nov, 2020

At first congratulations and best wishes for your result  . I am afraid to say with this marks your chances to get government colleges are almost negative through All India counselling for 15% seats  . You can still try in state counselling  for remaining 85% seats . Different state counselling cut offs vary from each other.
For different states it depend upon availability of colleges, student number etc various things . You have not mentioned your state . You must mention that for us to answer precisely. You must go for your respective state's counselling. Though chances for you are tough for you in there also for government colleges. However you can get easily many private medical colleges.

i dont belong to tamil nadu so should i apply for cmc under state counselling or all india counselling

DrTeeth 1st Nov, 2020

Since you are not a domicile resident of the state you are not eligible for the 85% state quota. This means you will have to apply for the 15% AIQ which is only filled by the all India counselling conducted by the MCI. You should register soon if you want to participate in the first round as the last date to register is tomorrow.

if i pay 1 lakh for Rajasthan private colleges counselling and got seat in all india counselling then how will i get refund from Rajasthan counselling?

AKSHAYA.V.A. 1st Nov, 2020

Hello!

Check with the institution whether that money is refundable or not. If it is refundable then you can approach the office and ask them for the refund. During admission process if you have signed a document stating I will not ask for a refund at any situation, you cannot definitely ask for a refund. If you are sure that you did not sign any such documents then you can approach the college. ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.

Thank You

all india counselling ke liye agar mcc ki site pr registratiom krva kr agar fee payment krne ke baad koi college nhi milta he to state coumselling ke liye phir se fee payment krna hoga kya ... me bhot confuse ho rha hu...

Kuheli Sanyal 1st Nov, 2020

Hey,

State counselling is held by the respective state authorities. It has no relation with All India Counselling. If you are registering with MCC for All India Counselling, you are eligible for those seats only which are included in the all India counselling. If you want to get a seat through state quota then you have to register with that particular state counselling authority. So yes, if you do not get a seat through All India Counselling, you can exit the counselling. And you have to pay the registration fee for the respective state counselling as well. A lot of states have already released notifications for registration. Your profile says you are form Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh has released the notification for state counselling registration. You better register there if you want a seat through state quota. And yes, you have to pay the registration fee.
