Hi there,

Your neet rank is very low, hence you have very low chances of getting a good college for mbbs degree.

You can still get some low ranked college with your rank in neet you can check that using our college predictor tool here is the link

Can I participate in sate counselling even after I got a seat in all India counselling?

Reeyaa Saxena 22nd Oct, 2020

Hello. Yes, definitely you can participate.  But at the end you will be liable to pay some distinct amount, as a difference for participating in both cases.

You can lock your seat in whichever round you are satisfied. For more concrete information, check the information bulletin present on the MCC counselling website to know more details about this issue.

Hope that helps!

how to apply for government quota in private colleges? is it through all india counselling or state?

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 21st Oct, 2020

Hello Sakshi

As you may know the state counselling authorities are responsible to conduct the counselling to give admission to private colleges.

Like in the state of Tamil Nadu  Directorate of Medical Education (DME) is supposed to conduct the counselling to give admission to various private universities in Tamil Nadu.

For more details please read https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/admission-in-private-medical-colleges-through-neet#:~:text=Apart%20from%20counselling%20for%20private,based%20on%20a%20candidate's%20category.

My NEET 2020 score is 576 and All India Rank is around 32000, can i get admission in any government medical college through All India Counselling?

Afifa 21st Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant

We cannot give you an exact possibility about your seat admission as cutoffs vary every year depending upon factors like difficulty level of examination, candidates marks etc.

However you have good score and considering you from general category, you have chances to get seat in some of the medical colleges under state qouta

For eg. Autonomous medical college - basti ( cutoff 576)

Autonomous medical college bahraich  ( 575 cutoff)

This cannot be sure as this year cut off won't be same and will be higher.

But you have chances and so you can apply them.

Now predict you neet colleges based on your marks using our neet college predictor

My Neet 2020 score is 576 and I belong to General category. Can i get admission in any Government medical college through ALL INDIA COUNSELLING?

S. Saha Student Expert 19th Oct, 2020

Going by last year's cutoffs it would be difficult to get any government Medical college through all India quota as last year 585 to 590 was the minimum score for general category to get a government Medical college through All India quota. But you can try for BDS through all India quota and you can expect

  • Government Dental College and Research Institute Bellary
  • GMC Trivandrum
  • Government Dental College and Hospital Mumbai
  • Tamilnadu Govt Dental College and Hospital Chennai
  • Govt Dental College ans Hospital Afsalganj etc and many more.

Check the cutoffs here

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off-for-government-colleges

But keep in mind that these are based on last year's data and this year the cutoffs can change. To get complete list of all colleges you can get based on your rank use this link http://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hello,

At a neet AIR of 345461 and sc category rank of 35000  you have no chances at 15% all india quota seat counselling as the cutoff is around 360+ also this year cutoff has increase significantly.

you can still apply for private or deemed institutions with a annual fee of around 10lkh to 2lakh.

You can use careers360 college predictor to know the colleges you can get at your NEET score:- https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

i got 121 mark in neet(SC category).can i apply for all india counselling and in state counselling??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 18th Oct, 2020

Hi

To be eligible for Neet all India and state counselling , one needs to qualify Neet examination

Now,

Neet 2020 qualifying cutoff is given below for different categories:-

Category    cutoff percentile       cut off marks

General          50                            720  -  147

UR - PWD        45                        146  -   129

Obc/Sc/st         40                      146  -  113

So , a student from SC category requires at least 113 marks to qualify Neet 2020 examination ,  so with 121 mark you have qualified Neet examination and so you are eligible for all India counselling and state counselling of your domicile state

Now, that your neet result is out
