my marks are 624. which medical college i will get in all india counselling.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 18th Oct, 2020

Hi

As you have not mentioned your category I am assuming you from general category

It's difficult to predict if you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 624 marks you hold a very good chance to get a seat in  government medical college and 15 % all India quota chances in following Government Medical College which are listed below along with their Neet 2019 cut off for general category under all India quota

*BIDAR INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCI., BIDAR:- 588

* Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata :- 607 marks

*BELGAUM INST. OF MEDICAL SCI., BELGAUM:- 594

* RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata :- 607

* North Bengal Medical College, Darjeeling :- 593

*HASSAN INST. MEDICAL SCIENCES, HASSAN:-590

And a few more

To get the list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

there are two options neet ug all india counselling collage predictor and neet ug all india and state counselling collage predictor. thing is i am from goa and my state is not included so i wanted to know which one to opt for?

Siddhi Shenoy 18th Oct, 2020

Hi Waldron Desa,

In the college predictor, one of the options is NEET UG All India Counselling, which is nothing but it tells you in which college across India you will get a seat in All India quota for seats. On the other hand, the second option that is NEET UG All India and state counselling gives a list of colleges in the state-quota in which you want to apply.

So, if you want a seat under All India Quota then choose the first option. Else, if you plan on applying a seat in your state itself, then choose the 2nd option and then you should be able to choose Goa as your state.

have a 23,060 rank in neet 2020.will I get in neet all india counselling. I come from kerala and obc category rank of 9,050.my mark was 593

Heena GJ 17th Oct, 2020

Hi Aspirant

With this score, you can get seat in medical college

Cut off depends upon no of seats available, no of students appearing, qualifying, difficulty level of exam, last year's trends.

Considering your score you may get seat in government college.

Although cut off varies every year.

But you still have chances as you also belong to OBC category.

my candidate got 40430 AIR from west bengal ,general category.is there any hope for seat in all india counselling(should we participate on it ).or should we go for state counselling only?

Kuheli Sanyal 17th Oct, 2020

Hey,

Last year the cut off for government seats through 15% All India Quota was 10013 rank for general category. So based on this, it is difficult for you to get a government medical seat through All India 15% Counselling. However, you can get a management quota seat in Deemed Universities.

While through 85% State Quota in West Bengal you can get state quota seats in the following colleges -

  • Jagganath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences ( last year cut off was 44021 )
  • IQ City Medical College ( last year cut off was 42524 )
  • Icare Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (  last year cut off was 44706 )
  • Shri Ramakrishna Institute of Medical Sciences ( last year cut off was 45464 )

So based on this, you can see you have better chances of getting a seat through State Quota Counselling. Hope this helps you to make a sound decision.

Being a general category student can I get a good college in all India counselling with 598 marks in my neet exam?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 13th Oct, 2020

According to past year analysis score of 600 is taken to be a safe score. You didn't met it but you are just a breath away. Don't get disheartened. We all know that a difference of 1 marks makes a huge difference in rank. But all this are predictions which are obviously studied by experts but also there is a magic moment where ever the logic gets muffled. So don't be disheartened and wait for the counselling.

Its a hard game and one may not become successful in its first attempt. So keep on trying if it becomes unlikely for you. If being a doctor is your passion , no one can stop you to be one.

i got 470 marks in neet 2020. i belong to obc category (bC-b). can i get mbbs seat or veterinary seat in either private or government colleges in Andhrapradesh under female quota? please suggest me the colleges in all india counselling or state Counselling......

Rashmita Paul 5th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

With 400 marks, there are chances to get in to a  government medical college. For veterinary seat one must score above 500+ to get a government seat. For MBBS one must score above 300 to get a private seat. As your NEET score is 470. Also it too depends upon last years cut-off. Adding it with 15% All India quota  and 85% state quota seats in government colleges. Your Overall Percentile is: 94.6 - 95.1  and when it comes to rank, your Predicted Rank is :72811 - 84961. For OBC category there comes 27% seat reservation.
