I want to do PG in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochem or Forensic Medicine. Pl advise

Sreeja Siva 21st Sep, 2020

Hi,

All of them are good courses to choose in a pg level. Anatomy includes the study about gross and surface anatomy, neuroanatomy, embryology, genetics, histology, radiological anatomy, applied aspects and recent advances of the above mentioned branches of anatomy to clinical practice. Physiology deals with the u nderstanding of all aspects of general, systemic and applied p hysiology. Biochemistry deals with concepts and principles of biochemistry and cell biology, including correlations of these with cellular and molecular processes involved in health and disease and forensic medicine aims to make the student aware of medico legal aspects in various settings and about contemporary advances and developments in the field of Forensic medicine. All the courses are good. So you have to consider your interest before you choosing a subject. If you ate interested in studying about physiological aspects or cell components then go for anatomy or physiology. If you are interested in cell biology or forensic field then go for biochemistry or forensic medicine.  Consider your interest and choose one. It's all about the interest of the student. All the best.

Do frog and earthworm morphology and anatomy topic is there in neet syllabus for 2020

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 23rd Jul, 2020

Kishor, 99% of the questions asked in NEET, come from the officially designated syllabus. And NEET Biology syllabus is as follows:

Diversity in Living world

Structural Organization in Animal and Plants

Cell Structure and Function

Plant Physiology

Human Physiology

Reproduction

Genetics and Evolution

Biology and Human Welfare

Biotechnology and its applications

Ecology and Environment

MCI has omitted topics related to Frog and Earthworm and only Cockroach has been included. But there have been times when questions regarding Frog or Earthworm have been asked in the exam. When you are studying the Structural Organisation in Animal and Plants, also please refer to the topics Annelida and Amphibians. It is better to be prepared than to be sorry.
