i got domicile of assam but my father is in army thats why we keep moving and i didnt did my 10th 12th from assam am i eligible for 85% quota of assam

suchayitaanusaha 27th Jul, 2021

Hello,

Your father is in army so generally you are moving around the India. And don't worry about the residential certificate. Because if your father live in Assam then you are domicile residence in Assam. Either you can't give the 10th and 12th from Assam but it's not the problem. But if your father is not from Assam then you can't apply for residential certificate. Where your father born this is your residential certificate.

All the best.

Can i get BDS college in Assam with 200 marks in neet 2021 . iam SC candidate ??

Sowmya Konkala 26th May, 2021

hello aspirant,

As of now its tough to say because the cutoff changes every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exams, difficulty level of paper etc.but based on previous year analysis the cutoffs are mentioned, considering state quota you need a minimum of 340+ to fetch seat in bds colleges target high and try to reach so that you don't have to worry about if u fetch the seat or not because in 2020 the cutoff rose by atleast 30-40+marks causing a difference in ranks by thousands.so prepare well.for more information regarding cutoffs refer to:

hope this helps,

can i change my college from one state to another state...? Example- Assam - U.P

Aadarsh Gupta 22nd May, 2021

Hello aspirant,

No, it is not possible to change one college to another of different states. As every state colleges have different protocols.

Yes but you can change college within a state after completing your 1st year also.

But it is not possible to take admission in different state after completion of 1st year of your college.

If you want to take admission in different state so you can take a fresh admission in college of that state.

Also some college may provide you this facility ( but probability is very less )so it would better if you could talk to the particular college to know what criteria they follow for the same as it varies accordingly.

hope this helps you

feel free to ask any questions

I got 78 percentile in jee mains feb attempt 2021 with st category assam, can i get admission in nit silchar assam?

Anurag Khanna 30th Jun, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 230000 - 260000 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-

Closing ST rank for NIT Silchar was :-

  • Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering branch - 2815(Home state quota)
  • Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering  branch - 2408(Other state quota)

And your ST rank is expected to be around 12,000 .

So you have no chances to get NIT Silchar with any of the branches even if you have Home state quota through JOSAA counselling but if you are female then you can get the above branch in NIT Silchar through CSAB counselling because closing rank in CSAB 2nd round is approx. 3 Lakhs.

But yes if you improve your percentile in any further session of JEE-Main like around 80-85+ then you might have a shot at NIT Silchar.

You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

If you are preparing for JEE-Main 2021 or 2022 then I would recommend you to check the resources made by our experts to help aspirants like you in the best and smart preparation of JEE-Main 2021 or 2022 :-
