ingot 94 percentile in JEE main and from andhra pradesh ( OBC) can I get CSE seat in Tezpur University or Assam University.

chandni deb 21st Jun, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

as you are well aware, the cutoff for each year differs depending upon various reasons such as, availability of seats, number of participants appearing for the examination, complexity of the paper etc. Hence to provide you with the exact prediction of your college admission possibilities is difficult.

However, as per the cutoff for the previous years, there is a good chance you will be able to secure a seat for the stream of CSE as Assam University as well as Tezpur University.

To get a more accurate prediction regarding your admission possibilities you may take help of the college predictor tool provided in the link given below.

can i do chemical engineering after bsc biotechnology ? suggest me some government Colleges in assam which provide that course

Priya Sharma 15th Jun, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

Indeed, you can. Anyone can take BSChE after graduating secondary school or different courses other than B. Sc. You simply need to have the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department evaluate your records to discover what subjects you have completed can be authorized to Chemical Engineering. From that point, you would be prompted what subjects you need to join up with to begin your ChE course.

Eligibility to become Chemical Engineer

  • For taking up Bachelor's degree courses in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry, the student should pass Class 12 in the science stream.
  • For a master's course, Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or a related field is obligatory.
  • For taking up research in the field of chemistry/chemistry, students should have a Master's degree in chemistry/chemical engineering or related fields.
  • Students should clear entrance exams like JEE Main/JEE Advanced, state-level designing entrance exam, GATE, and so on for the admission to Chemical Engineering course.
  • For the B.Sc course in Chemistry, there will be no entrance test in most of the colleges in India.

The following are government colleges in Assam:

College Name - Total Fees - Exam

  • IIT Guwahati - Rs.9,03,600 - Jee Advance (4years course)
  • Assam Engineering College, Guwahati - Rs.44,000 - Assam CEE (4 years course)
  • Assam Institute of Engineering, Guwahati - Rs.5,990 - Assam PAT (3-year diploma course)
  • Bineswar Brahma Engineering College, Kokrajhar - Rs.60,100 - Assam CEE (4 years course)
  • Assam Science and Technology University, Guwahati - Rs.60,100 - Assam CEE (4 years course)

what does the statistics say about clearing USMLE and to practise in the US as primary as practitioner to emergency medicine treatment and critical care management from kokrajhar btr assam india and basically for a santhal community.

anirudha vats 11th Jun, 2021

Hi,

There is no specific statistical data available to show what percentage of people from Assam can practice as a doctor in US. But a study showed that nearly 150 students did medical studies in US and out of which only 75 were able to get into residency program and half of which were finally able to come out as doctors in respective fields.

I hope this helps.

All the best.

how is the 15 % all India quota work in assam

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 31st May, 2021

Hi

Your profile suggests that you are a medicine aspirant so I am guessing that your question is in regarding with Neet

There are 2 quotas under which a seat is provided in a Medical College through Neet examination

----)15 % All India quota :- it is conducted by DGHS on behalf of MCC. All the neet qualified students are eligible for 15% all India quota accept for Jammu and Kashmir candidates as Jammu and Kashmir doesn't participate in all India counselling

---) 85 % state quota :- it is conducted by respective states. Only students who are  domicile of that state are eligibile.

How  does 15 % all India quota work in assam ?

15% all India quota works in Assam by simply providing 15% of the total seats to the students of other states .

Let's say ,

that  a Government Medical College has 100 seats then 15% i. e 15 seats are filled through all India counselling and if you are from any state other than Assam then you can participate in all India counselling for those 15 %  seats and  you can get a seat on the basis of your rank in NEET

For detailed information regarding Neet counselling/ seat allotment process ,you can check out our page for which link is provided below

I have only 48 % marks in graduation & i am from OBC cast may i eligible for b.ed admission 2021 at silchar,Assam??

pdwords Student Expert 10th Apr, 2021
Hello,

Basically the eligibility criteria for BEd is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% or above aggregate depending upon the norm of the university, this aggregate factor differs among universities and so does among categories usually there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, so if you come under OBC-NCL then you may benefit from this, kindly check the eligibility criteria of the specific university you want to apply for or mention the details in the comment box below.
