Assam University is better tham Dibrugarh University in terms of placement and faculties.The placement percentage of Assam University is greater than Dibrugarh University.It is about 30-40 percentage in Assam University as about placements and also faculties are good there.Infrastructures are good here better than dibrugah University.

The minimum aggregate percentage required in pcb for appearing in neet for general category people is 50%. The eligibility criteria for neet in their qualifying examination isn't set according to state board but according to their caste. Similarly for ST/SC/OBC the required aggregate in pcb is 40% whereas for PWD it is 45%.

Assam CEE exam is the entrance exam conducted by Assam Science and Technology University for admissions in B.tech colleges in Assam. For this year the registration window isn't active yet, as well as the date of examination haven't been announced yet. Now, the syllabus for this exam is same as that of Class 12th examinations for Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. The paper is conducted in offline mode and focuses on Physics ,Chemistry and Mathematics and they have a weightage of 40 marks each. The eligibility criteria includes age limit that is you must be atleast 17 years old as of 1st August 2021 and should not be more than 21 years old. Also, the candidate should be permanent resident of Assam . Academic qualifications include minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics and must have cleared all subjects including english. On the basis of the cut offs for Assam Cee for 2017, the cut off for OBC was 77 to 70 marks out of a total of 120.

* Assam JLEE 2021 – Assam Science & Technology University (ASTU) will be conducting the common entrance exam for admissions to the second year BE/B.Tech Program for the academic year 2021-22. The application form of Assam JLEE 2021 has been released on June 2021 and the candidates can submit it by July 2021. It is an entry for admissions to the premier Engineering Colleges in Assam under the lateral entry scheme.
* These colleges include Assam Engineering College, Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology, Bineswar Brahma Engineering College . The candidates will be selected on the basis of the merit list which is prepared on the basis of the total marks secured in the admission test. The admit card of Assam JLEE 2021 will be released in August 2021.
* The exam will be conducted in two centers – Guwahati and Jorhat . The authorities will declare the result of Assam JLEE 2021 on or before September 2021, followed by the counseling and seat allotment.
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Aspirants seeking admission into the 2nd year of B.E/B. Tech programs offered under the lateral entry scheme at colleges in the state of Assam will have to meet the minimum eligibility requirements as stated below –
At the time of filling the online application form, candidates will get a chance to select and submit the choice of preference for the exam center.
