I am basically a NEET aspirant from Assam. I just want to know that if I am unable to crack NEET what are the next career oppurtunities? I dont want to study simply Bsc and Msc. I want my dreams to complete. so what furthur education can I choose to go into a professional career?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 26th Mar, 2021

Depending on what kind of professional career you want to be in. If you want to stay in Medical field then NEET/AIIMS is one of the most important things of your life. Now if you want to move to para medical fields like Nursing, Physiotherapy etc then also you have to give specific entrances. Also if you want to go for Interdisciplinary fields then you can go for Bio Medical Engineering. As you don't want to do BSc MSc thing, then Engineering can be a career choice for you. If you are interested in Law then you can go for BA-LLB integrated courses. Also Pharmaceuticals can be a course you may prefer where you can learn different ways of medicine designing etc. Also you can go for Management course like BBA, Hotel Management etc.

**You don't want BSc MSc but I would say if you do BSc in Microbiology or Chemistry or Physics or Biochemistry then you also can be in medical fields by studying courses and researches in Nuclear Medicine, Medical Physics etc.

There are well number of possibilities but you have to specify your interest and narrow it down.

I hope this might help. All the very best for your future endeavors!

Anurag Khanna 25th Mar, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

According to the mentioned percentile your rank is expected to be in the range of 78771 - 88550 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

So on such rank and category you have no chance to get CSE in any of the NITs/IIITs/CFTIs, so I would recommend you to either go for state counselling for state GFTIs or for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

https://learn.careers360.com/jee-main-coaching/?utm_source=%20QnA

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

You can also check out the JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-off (expected) for JEE-Advance 2021 from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

is the ews certificate issued in Assam is of two types? central and state?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 24th Mar, 2021

Yes there are two types of EWS certificate for central and state. In Assam, the annual income for State EWS is Rs. 6 lac/annum (maximum) and for the central EWS you have the annual income limit to be Rs. 8 lac/annum(maximum).

**You can download the rules and regulations of EWS for Government of Assam by typing 'EWS form Government of Assam' on google search. Similiarly you can approach for the central EWS.

I hope this might help. All the very best for your future endeavors!

Is ASSAM CEE follow JEE MAIN ranking?

Deblina Roy 20th Mar, 2021

Dear Student,

You must have to appear Common Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam and have to be selected in this examination. Hence this examination is for Assam resident students and admission are based on CEE conducted by DTE Assam. So JEE Main examination's score is not applicable here.

thank you.
