I am from assam Ive got 85.33 % in pcb can i got govt seat for bpt in Maharashtra from NRI quota and what is the fees structure ? my neet score is 195

Shibili 22nd Oct, 2020

Hi,

There are chances to get a seat in NRI quota or management seat. Most of the colleges do not require neet exam for bpt, while some colleges do require it. The fee structure is different for different colleges. However approx of 5L rs would be the total fee depending on type of seat quota.

Is any bsc community health course offering college in assam?

Shakti Swarupa Bhanja 22nd Oct, 2020

Hi Rofiqul, hope you are doing well!

Yes, Medical Institute Jorhat (MIJ) offers a three- year long course of B.Sc.Community Health(earlier was know as Diploma in Medicine and Rural Health care ). But now this course is transferred to a new course known as BSc Family and Community Health and has been discontinued from the institute.

The passed out students are appointed as Community Health Officer(CHO) and the CHOs start exercising at Sub-Centers and PHCs in the various districts of Assam under NHM on a contractual basis.

Hope this helps:)

EE vs ETCE... which is best branch in Assam Engineering College?

Abir Gayen 30th Nov, 2020
Hi Aspirant,
In Assam Engineering college EE is better than ETCE since the placement percentage of EE is better than ETCE.Moreover most of the recruiters are from IT companies but some of the students from EE are also placed in their work of field in Vodafone and Huawei,Honor etc and some other renowned companies. Some faculties are same from both the branch however the infrastructure is quite good being a nice place to study.ETCE do not have decent placement over last few years whereas EE branch have over 70 percentage of placement.Faculties in EE are extremely knowledgeable and senior.
Hope it helps!! You should go for EE IN ASSAM ENGINEERING COLLEGE.

I scored 366 in NEET 2020 & my AIR is 226801. I am from ASSAM & belong to the GENERAL category. Do I stand a chance to get admission to SMIMS, Gangtok this year?

Siddhartha 19th Oct, 2020

hello

expected cut off for Sikkim is 360+ this year , so it is difficult to predict the possibility but you should try applying for 85% state quota seats of Assam.

and honestly speaking you should try contacting SMIMS Gangtok administration directly they can help you get in with your marks or at least can tell you the way to get in  .

I heard that one requires 60% aggregate in PCB to be eligible for MBBS admission in Assam through NEET. pls clarify whether its 60% aggregate in PCB or PCB and English combined (Ive found that too on the internet) for Assam.

mjaisinghani62 18th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant

For Assam,  Xii board marks are not calculated for mbbs admission . But it is mandatory to get 60% aggregate marks for unreserved Category and minimum 50% aggregate for reserved category.

For general Category candidate , one should secure minimum 50% marks in PCB. For reserved category candidates it is necessary to get 40% in PCB subjects

English marks are not included but it is a compulsory subject and it is necessary to pass in English.

I scored 70% in HS and 55% PCB aggregate, 64% PCB & English aggregate. Am I eligibile for MBBS through Assam state quota ??????

tanoshree rana 18th Oct, 2020

Hello dear student,

To become eligible to get admission for any medical college whether it is government or private you must have to to qualify Neet entrance test which was conducted by NTA. 12th marks only taken into consideration to make you eligible to give the Neet entrance exam they have no importance other than this.

Thank you
