You have a very good career option. In order to be come an egyptologist graduation is needed. But if you have history and other related subjects that would be more easier and helpful. As I hope you already know egyptology is a part and connection towards history. Some schools also have it as a subject. If you are planning for higher studies than better be postgraduate in Arts and go for phd in egyptology.
