mere neet me 49.82 persontial h genral category se kya mujhe private bhms college mil skta h kya

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 1st Dec, 2021

Hi

>>>>>>>> With 49.82 percentile

You cannot any medical/dental college be it government or private , not even for bhms

This is because,

With your percentile, you have failed to qualify Neet examination  but  in order to be eligible for getting admission in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS etc even in private colleges for management quota seat or anywhere  you must qualify Neet examination

For your reference,

Neet 2021 qualifying cutoff  for different categories is :-

.                     NEET 2021 CUT OFF

Category     cut off percentile  Cut off marks

General/ EWS     50th                   720-138

General-PH        45th                 137-122

SC                       40th                 137-108

ST                         40th                137-108

OBC                      40th                137-108

SC/ST/OBC-PH   40th               121-108

So,

General category student requires at least 138 marks i. e 50 percentile , to qualify neet 2021.

I want admission in bhms and i belong to general category. Can i make my obc certificate, as obc fees is low than general category ones?

Urvi 30th Nov, 2021

Hello Aspirant

To apply for BHMS with Obc category, you'll first have to check if you are eligible and falls under the non-creamy layer OBC category. To check if you are eligible to apply for obc certificate, you can check an OBC list provided by central government as per your state. If your caste or group is included, you are able to apply for OBC certificate as long as you also fulfil the Non-Creamy Layer requirements.

Hi,

BHMS is a very good option if you wish to go. Many organizations are working in the manufacturing and research field in abroad are requiring the professional in this field. The professionals in this field can work in companies those deal with the homeopathic preparations. you may get the job in homeopathic colleges as a professor or the researcher also.Otherwise, you can work as Homeopathic Doctor or Consultant in Hospitals or health care centers. Research firms and Pharmaceutical firms are also in need of BHMS graduates.

Hope it helps.

which one to opt for bams or bhms?

Abhinav Pandey 27th Nov, 2021

Hello student

Both the fields have their own importance and own pros and cons. Job prospects is good for both but the no. Of fields in md is a little more in bams. But on the other hand a lots of master courses including md are available after bhms which can land u up (for both bams and bhms) working in good hospitals in either india or abroad.

Lastly after taking either of bhms or bams you have to be prepared to study very hard as these are long term courses and have tremendous no. of further studies options. Don't worry about job as ultimately u will land up becoming a registered medical practitioner with a title of doctor and will hold a respected class in the society. After bachelors or further studies you definitely land up in in a good and reputed jobs.

So whether you choose bams or bhms be prepared to work hard and wishing you a very prosperous medical journey.
