Plenty of students appear for the examinations while the seats are comparatively less is number. Your SC rank is 215, you can wait till the second list/second round of counselling in BHU but after that you should start looking for other colleges.

As per the cutoff this year, the counselling date for OBC candidates in on July 12 from Rank 1 to 1349 for both Male and Female candidates. It seems as if you don't stand a chance in the first round. So, wait patiently for the other rounds, but be sure to look for other institutes to keep your options open.

As per the cutoff released this year, the counselling date for ST category candidates, both Male and Female falling in the rank range of 1-288 is on July 13th, 2019. Since your rank range fits this category very well, you seem to have good chances of getting admission.

I would like to inform you that there is a minimum category for marks and mor ranks category is maximum rank.

So i suppose ypu were looking for maximum rank for bhu uet maths group.

If thats what your concern, then maximum rank cutoff for bhu uet maths group for general category is 1319 in the year 2018. So in 2019 it is supposed to be around the same.

According to the previous years cutoff and trends, with a rank of 481 and 232 marks in the BHU UET Law for LLB(hons.) 3 year, you might not be able to get admission in BHU. Since last year's cutoff for general cateory was - 412 marks and 249 rank for general category. If you really want admission in BHU, I would suggest to go for the counselling.

As per your query I would like to tell you that according to your rank and based upon the previous year cuttoff marks you may have very less chances to getting admission in B.A (HONS) through general category rank . 

With you st rank you  may have chances of getting admission . 

As per year the cuttoff marks varies depending upon the number of students appearing in the exam and the difficulty level of exam papers in the Exam
