ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 21st May, 2022

Hi chhavi

You shouldn't have wasted your 11th & 12th time.

Anyway,

Now, there's no point in crying over spilt milk, so what's important is that you have realised your mistake and now you are serious about neet examination preparation, so without any delay you should start your neet preparation as soon as possible following the below tips:-

Go well through the chapters and while the studying them, your major focus should be on understanding the concepts .

The top books which you can follow for the preparation of your NEET  examination  are provided below:-

>>>>>>>>>>>>> PHYSICS :-

  • NCERT Physics textbooks for Class XI and XII

  • Objective Physics for neet By DC Pandey

  • NCERT at your fingertips by mtg for physics

>>>>>>>>>>>>> CHEMISTRY :-

  • NCERT Chemistry textbooks for Class XI and XII

  • Physical Chemistry by OP Tandon

  • MS Chauhan (Organic)

>>>>>>>>>>>>> BIOLOGY:-

  • NCERT Biology Class XI and Class XII "-

  • NCERT at your fingertips by mtg for biology

  • Trueman's biology for 11th and 12th

For more about books for neet visit :- https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/best-books-for-neet

---------------------------) Practice questions:- after finishing each chapter you should practice numericals and mcqs .You should practise at least 80 to100 numericals and mcqs in Each chapter to master concepts so that you can solve numericals and MCQs easily.

----------------------------)  Short breaks :- take short breaks in between your studies, studying continuously can be brain tiring and it becomes difficult to focus and study with concentration, so take breaks to relax and refresh your brain.

------------------------------)  Make short notes:- You should make chapterwise short notes for each chapter and it should contain all the important concepts and formulas. These short notes will be a great revision tool for your examination.

-----------------------------)  Set  goals :- set daily goals like I have to cover these many topics today, weekly goals like I have to  cover these chapters this week and  solve their mcqs too by the end of this week and similarly set monthly goals to cover the syllabus and meet them without any fail.

----------------------------)  Follow a routine or timetable :- you can make a routine and religiously follow it and try to give at least 7- 8 hours to study each day in your routine.

  • PHYSICS is the  toughest part for most of the medical aspirants  as it has both numericals and concepts to deal with ,so keep at least 3 hours each day for physics

  • In Chemistry you have to deal with reactions and learn them and solve questions as well, so give at least 2.5 hours to Chemistry

  • In biology you have to read, learn and revise again and again, so keep around 2.5 hours for Biology.

----------------------------) Revise:-  revise your concepts,  formulas etc at regular intervals  . Revision is very important otherwise as you move forward in your syllabus, you start forgetting the concepts you have learned before and you won't be able to perform well in your examination.

----------------------------) Solve previous year NEET question  :- Solving previous year questions will let you know the examination pattern, type of questions asked in the exam and difficulty level of questions, also concepts  of the questions often gets repeated so it will be of great help to you . You can get previous year papers at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-question-papers

------------------------------) Go through NEET mock test papers :- Once you are done with your complete syllabus solve mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level .After solving each mock test paper, analyse yourself which will help you to know your weak areas /topics  so that you can work on them and them strong so that you can perform well in your examination.

Sir I am in class 10th but the session is not start yet...so I am saying that I took standard maths and I want basic now so can I change my standard maths to basic after submitting the board form.

Anurag Khanna 30th Mar, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See for class 10th registration process was already conducted in class 9th once and in class 10th also it is conducted which is called as final registration for class 10th examinations but if you have already opted for Standard Mathematics then now you cannot change it to basic Mathematics and also if you want to opt for PCM in class 11th and 12th then you should mandatorily pass class 10th with Standard Mathematics otherwise you can only pursue streams other than that of Science (Mathematics) like Commerce,  Arts and so on.

I hope this information helps you.

When neet 2022 is expected? I have done my syllabus...how should I do so that board term 2 doesnt effect my neet prep? how much mock I should give if my part syllabus average is 450approx and maximum 520?

masteranshu27 30th Mar, 2022
As of now, the official dates of NEET UG 2022 have not been declared. It is expected that the exam will most likely be held in the month of June or July. You are suggested to keep visiting the NTA NEET official website on a frequent basis for latest updates regarding NEET UG Exam dates.

Now coming to preparation, I would recommend you to first focus on your board exams. Revise the topics that will come in your Boards so thoroughly that, after your Boards are complete you will no more need to go through them (so that you can only revise the rest topics, which are the Term 1 Board syllabus and the class 11 syllabus).

Also you have stated that you are getting marks in the range of 450-520. Marks are actually good, considering they are mock tests. I would suggest you that, after your boards are complete, give two full syllabus tests daily - one full syllabus test from a mock paper and another one from previous year NEET questions. Practising mock papers will help you do retrograde revisions (i.e. learning from questions). Also you can watch the one short NCERT videos from YouTube to complete your leftover chapters in a quick time. If you practise two full syllabus tests daily (till NEET), I can guarantee that you will be able to score atleast 600+.

first of all my question is GSEB board is conducting improvement test? if yes so Can I give improvement exam for GSEB board even after passing in 12th science board? and if I can give it so what is the process to register for improvement test please give the brief details please it is important?

Sohamsengupta8 15th Jun, 2022

Hello Student

If you want to appear for improvement examination of Gujarat secondary Education Board exam then you have to appear for class 11 exam and take class examination also at a time. If you already appeared for 12  class examination then there is no scope for improvement examination for class 11.  There is the scope of appearing in improvement examination for class 12 only of GSEB.. there is no other way to appear for improvement examination after 12th class appearing examination. It Is possible only if you appear for class 12 improvement examination of Gujarat state Education Board.

Hope this will help.
