when we apply for ews certificate then we have to opt for either state or central level..so i am confused which option should i go for to get a valid ews certificate which is applicable for admissions in iit or nits?central level or state level?

gauravvijayvargiya399 2nd Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See, the EWS certificate is authentic and beneficial for availing benefits in fee structure of general category candidates having Annual family income less then 8 LPA.

The EWS certificate be central or state is different. Also, if you get admission into a NIT or IIT from your home state then you would require a state EWS certificate. Bit, if the IIT or NIT they you would get admission to belongs to other state and not your home state, then you would require the central EWS certificate.

So, depending upon the place or college that you could or will get admission into, you have to opt for your EWS certificate.

But, if your are confused and uncertain, then you can opt and make EWS certificate for both state as well as for central.

Hope that helps. Good luck

I have got 92.9 percentile in jee mains.I belongs to obc category. Is there any other oppurtunities available for me in central government colleges other then jee counseling?. And my state board mark cutoff is 161, so is there any opportunity for me to enter state government colleges with jee marks?

vishesh kumar 13th Sep, 2020

Hi,

Yes, you can go for state counselling if you don't want to take part in JoSAA counselling. However it is suggested that you should go for the JoSAA counselling as there are good chances that you may get a seat in any of the NITs rather than going for the government colleges. It's all upto you. So all the best!!

Through CSE Branch can we join in ISRO or DRDL or any other central government institute. We are very much confusion in choosing the branch of CSE or ECE. Which is better. Pl help

Aman Ghatiya 7th Sep, 2020

Hello
DUGGARAJU ABHINAY , For joining ISRO by giving ISRO exam for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’. The exam is conducted for the Mechanical, Electronics and Computer Sciences departments, out of these this year there were 42 seats in Electronics, 36 in Mechanical and 9 in Computer Sciences.

So, from any of branch ECE or CSE both are best for ISRO.

Hope it will be helpful for you :)
