Civil Engineering
Dear aspirant!
Hope you are doing well !
Mechanical Engineering is the best branch at NIT Rourkela in terms of placements, and Faculty. Computer Science and Engineering can be the second branch in terms of placements though the teaching standards is not so good. But the research facilities are very good.
also ,,,In my point of view civil engineering at NIT rourkela is a better choice . Placements: There is average placement in civil engineering department.

Hello,
Minimum eligible criteria for JEE Main -
So, as per eligibility criteria, you are eligible for JEE Main but you will not able to take admission in NITs or CFTIs.
Thank You
Both the institute you have named are one of the top institutes in India. Now if you wish to go for any of the courses, then I would recommend you to go for the course of JNTUH CSE. The JNTUH CSE is a better choice compared to that of the Civil Engineering, because the core jobs in CSE are far better compared to that of Civil Engineering. The salary packages are higher in case of CSE and if you need to get a job and want to prepare for the MBA entrances, then going for the CSE will offer you a better prospect ahead.
Now you can choose any of the field as per your choice.

I hope this helps. Wish you a great day!
No, with that percentile you may not get Civil Engineering in Amrita Coimbatore. You can try choosing Amrita Chennai and Amaravati Campuses and may get the seat as their cut offs are comparatively very much lower than Amrita Coimbatore.
You may not get seat in Civil Engineering in Amrita Coimbatore with 28000 rank. The chances are very much less as the cut offs in Amrita Coimbatore are less than 15000 for every branch. You can try for Amrita Chennai and Amaravati Campuses and you may get the seat.
Hii
Sardar patel college of engineering is a good government autonomous college for core engineering with generous faculties and outstanding placement you have good opportunity in Mumbai. One of the finest engineering colleges in Mumbai. Decent but remarkably intelligent crowd. Glamorous fests. Autonomous, so updated syllabus....easy papers. I personally feel that the quality of education here is just next (if not equal) to VJTI. Library facility is great. The computer library facility is jawdropping. The infrastructure is not up to the mark; but being a government aided college its above average. No . The fee for the general cateogery is around 65 to 70 thousand per annum: thats about half of what other colleges make you pay.
