Civil Engineering
Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
So, Yes you can pursue but Civil engineering and Architecture are two really different branches and hence it is not advisable to pursue Architecture after doing Civil as you must have already spent 4 years for B.tech and B.Arch is for 5 years (which sums up to 9 years in total!). I will instead recommend you to do your masters in Planning (M.Plan) or M.Arch in any of the streams of your choice so that you get a touch of Architecture also and have your master degree too. However, the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi-110002, provides specialization options for meritorious civil engineering graduates in its M.Arch. program and related fields.
I hope it helps.

Hello student,
Even if you have joined late in CSE branch, you havent missed much of the syllabus as mostly only the basics of programming languages mostly have been covered. You need to look at the syllabus of your college for the first year and learn all the basic concepts of the programming language that they were taught.
Learn C language thoroughly as it help you to build a great foundation for your future coding career.
I hope this helps, All the Best!
If you want to take admission in the course of BTech in Civil Engineering through the lateral entry examination then you can do it even after Diploma in Automobile Engineering. Switching of trades are allowed for lateral entry examination. Although I would advice you, if you wish to do so , then you must be very sure that you have to put in some extra efforts as the Automobile engineering is quite a different field compared to that of the Civil Engineering. SO you must be ready to work hard and if you have genuine interest in the subject then you will do great in it.
