i am in civil dipoma of government polytechnic in dhule iam in 1st yr 8 can get addmission in coep college

Simran Vohra 12th Aug, 2025

Hello!

So, if you are in your 1st year of Civil Diploma at Government Polytechnic Dhule  you cannot  get admission to COEP right now. You can apply after completing your diploma only.

After completing your diploma you can apply through lateral entry scheme that means direct admission in the second year but for that the competition is very high and seats are very less so you need to score high marks in every semester. finish your diploma first and then apply for lateral entry.

Hello Aspirant,

In West Bengal, specifically Durgapur, the 3-year B.Tech Civil Engineering Lateral Entry course fees in private colleges typically range from 1.8 Lakhs to 3.15 Lakhs for the entire course. For instance, Bengal College of Engineering and Technology lists it around 2.67 Lakhs. Government colleges offering lateral entry, like Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, have significantly lower fees, often below 1 Lakh for the full duration. These fees usually exclude hostel and other charges.
