It's very difficult to predict the salary natures of doctors in two different countries because every country has a different case scenario for the demand and availability of a specific doctor depending on the cases related of his field of knowledge in his particular country.

Cardiology and optometry both are good courses, it is depend upon your interest that what you like. And for your other question, you cannot be a doctor after your bachelor course or b.sc cardiology to become a doctor you have to complete you MSc cardiology and the MD Cardiology to become a Cardiologist.
