But Im in a school in Ireland and my school has only three options - Biology, Chemistry and Physics and they only allow students to choose two out of three of these topics. Then what two topics should I choose if I want to become a Doctor in India?

To be a doctor in India i.e., to study MBBS/BHMS/BAMS/BDS etc you have to qualify an examination namely NEET. This examination is a entrance for all the national and international students wiling to be study medical sciences in India.

For this examination you need to have PCB so you should opt PCB in your Higher School examination in order to be eligible for NEET.

The eligibility for the NRI/Foreign Students:

  • The candidate should have studied PCB in the qualifying examination equivalent to 10+2 in the respective country.
  • Candidate should have English as one of the subject in 10+2 equivalent level
  • Try to keep atleast 60% in your 10+2 equivalent in order to be eligible for NEET

Hello there

If one wants to become doctor then he/she should be serious about it.

Step 1- Candidates have to pass 10+2 with Science stream, Biology is compulsary. Candidates need to score an aggregate of 65% marks in 10+2 with a recognised board.

Step 2-Qualify Neet and get admission in a medical college to earn your mbbs degree .

To become a professor first be a lecturer and then with experience you'll be eligible to become an assistant professor.

After MBBS, you should hold a post graduate degree in your Specialisation.

Candidates also need to have atleast 3 years teaching experience.

It's a time taking process and you need to be focused. You'll have to complete many degrees and gain experience.

hi,

so you want to become a bhms doctor, bhms stands for bachelor in homeopathy medicine and surgery. there is following steps to become a bhms doctor as follows:

take science for 10+2 course. you must mandatory to take physics, chemistry, biology and english.

while you are at 12th course you have take preparation for neet ug which conducts by NTA to admission in mbbs, bds, bhms etc course in indian colleges.

neet ug is a national exam and every year numerous students appears for it. however cutoff score is very high and major competition is for mbba course. for bhms general category students challenging score is 450 out of 720, however it may change time to time depends with students category, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, number of applicants for any particular stream and son on.

There are 1 scholarship under secondary Education Board of Assam to encourage and to help the student who is aspiring for engineering and medical education that is Dr. Abdul Kalam student scholarship which is worth of rupees 100000.the student must secure at least 55% marks in the last examination of 12th class and  his parents income must be less to 2.5 lacs per annum.

Hello Mohini,

If you want to become a doctor, after 11th class, you should pursue Medical in 11th with Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Study medical and then give exams after finishing your 12th such as NEET, AIIMS and other. That will give you the opportunity to become a Doctor.

Hello,

You can choose Science stream dear. Because being a doctor you have to give NEET examination. With out Science stream you can't eligible for this examination. So you can choose physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and english subjects in any board. And you have to get minimum 60% marks in 12th class for getting admission in medical College.

In India BAMS doctor staring salary in between 20k to 50k. It's differ from State to state and private to government hospitals.

No,you can't call a M.Sc Radiologist student to be a doctor .For becoming a doctor in radiology you need to study mbbs and complete your MD in this specific field.
Though,after completing PhD in Radiologist you can be called a Doctorate.

There is no need to do BSc nursing to become a doctor. In case, If you are doing BSc nursing or have completed it, you have to qualify NEET examination in way to become a doctor. After NEET get into MBBS and after completing MBBS you can go for the speciality courses.
