Hello Aspirant,
As per the eligibility criteria for IFS exam released by UPSC, the candidate should have graduated in any of the following discipline :-
Animal Husbandry/Veterinary Science/Botany/Chemistry/Geology/Mathematics/Physics/Statistics and Zoology
Or
Should have bachelor's degree in Agriculture/Forestry/Engineering, but as you have mentioned that you have completed your graduation in Arts stream so you are not eligible for IFS exam. Also if you have studied Environmental science as a subject in BA then it doesn't means that you have graduated under any of the above discipline because your main stream of graduation is checked for eligibility.
You can check out the complete eligibility criteria from the link given below :-

Hello aspirant,
some companies and the packages offered by them L &T - 45k S ,SFC - 40k D ,Dar - 40k E ,Eaton - 9 LPA G ,GIST - 7.2 LPA
So on an average you get 40k–45k per month and that too after studying for atleast 6 years.
If you want money it would be better to go non-core companies where you can get 9–12 LPA package easily (you must take courses on stats, R etc).
thankyou

Yes , you are very much eligible to apply for fellowship. Animal sciences is a field related to environmental science. The NET notification has stated that, if your subject is not mentioned in the list of NET subjects, you can take up related subjects and clear NET . Anyways it is better to discuss with your department in the college where you are pursuing PhD. They will be able to give the correct guidance.
All the best
