which is the better option A) bsc Hons . environmental science from Ramanujan college du or B) bsc program life science from swami shraddhanand college du plzz reply ... i need help urgently thanks :)

Abhishek Roy 5th Dec, 2020

I believe B.Sc in Environmental Science at Ramanujan College, Delhi University will be a bettet option than the latter. Ramanujan College counts among one of the better colleges of Delhi University with good infrastructure, faculty and other facilities. Environmental Science itself is a much interesting subject with a lot of career scope and prospects. Even if you want to prepare for Government Examinations like UPSC, JAM or GATE, you can as the curriculum is much relaxed and student friendly.

in bhupet i got 247 in ( general ) and 183 in female category of environmental science and technology. will I get admission there?

Ayush Singh 16th Oct, 2020

Hello Pakhi!!

As you mentioned your 247 marks in General Category in BHU PET exam. First of all, I want to tell you that, not specific seats are reserved for the females there. Only on the basis of cut-offs, people get seats in it.

You have scored well in the Exams and surely you will get admission there, but as Counselling process is going to start, you can register in that but might you don't get the main campus of BHU, which is not a very big deal.

You can opt for Environmental Science there and many seats are there for Female Categories also, so you can get admission through that also, but you have to wait for the final merit list from the College.

You have scored well and if you got in top ranks in Merit List after counselling, then for sure you are going to get a seat in the Central Campus too.

I am providing you the link through which, you can access to the required cut-offs for different courses in BHU:

You can surely check for it and can select your preferred stream with the better idea.

Hope that my answer helped you!!

Good Wishes and Best of Luck for the Future.

Thank You
