Hi
There's no home state quotas in IIITs.
Making prediction is difficult because rank vs marks vs percentile and closing rank to get a seat as cut off keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like
number of candidate or students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them ,
difficulty level of the jee main examination ,
number of seats available for the branch you want etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then ,
In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , 4233 ews rank was the closing rank for gender neutral for rws category in IIIT Kota for computer science engineering
You can check the same at
So, to be on the safe side use of target at least around 4000 ews i. e around 32000 crl rank, you need at least around 97 percentile as per our rank predictor at
To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to, your home state, your gender etc, the link for jee main college predictor is provided below
Thankyou
Yes of course there is provision of EWS reservation like other reservation categories in Bihar, so NTSE stage 1 is a state level exam for every state and each state declares the cut-off for all eligible reservation and non-reservation categories. Similarly in Bihar there is 10% reservation for EWS candidates but as we know that there is no seat allotment through NTSE stage 1 but the students selected from every state for NTSE stage 2, so the reservation categories will get benefited there and the cut-offs for EWS and other reservation categories are quite lower as compared to that of General category.
