I apply For Upsc exam in ews category . If Maharashtra Govt allows Sebc reservation . Then can i apply in sebc quota for maharashtra state service exams?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 27th Mar, 2021
Hello,

Yes, you can. If you have applied for UPSC civil services examination as an ews candidate then you have to make sure that you have a valid ews certificate. And for Maharashtra Civil services, if they allow sebc quota then yes you can apply but you should fulfill the eligibility criteria.

I hope this helps.

I am a EWS category student, do I get 10% reservation quota for AIQ , and institutes like AIIMS and MAMC?

suchayitaanusaha 4th May, 2021

Hello,

EWS quota means economical weaker sections. So in AIIMS colleges 2019- 2020 no EWS quota present. But this seat implement in 2020-2021 session in AIIMS. So you got seat in EWS category. If you want to join AIIMS but don't get EWS category seat although it's not a problem because the fees if AIIMS is very less other than any government medical colleges.  So don't worry keep studying to get good marks.

All the best.

I have scored 28.9 marks in gate 2021 cse with 11134 rank. I am from EWS category. My B.tech cgpa is above 8.15/10. What are some good colleges (placement wise) that i can try to get admission in.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 25th Mar, 2021

hi,

see cutoff score changes every year and it might differ with certain factors like number of applicants , students category, choice of stream, questions level of gate exam and so on. however at this score it is quite difficult to get any nits , since computer science is quite demanding stream right now. however I suggest you to apply for state wise counselling like ap pgecet, or ts pgecet or mhtcet mtech counselling. there you have chances for state wise government colleges.

To know about complete list of probable college name, based on your score, category please use Careers360 college predictor tool

sir iam belong to EWS category and my family annual income is 140000 if I get below 10000 rank in ts eamcet 2021 can I get full fee reimbursement in engineering?

anirudha vats 4th May, 2021

Hey,

The EWS category assures you that there will be 10% reservation given to you while admission into any course. Same applies with TS EAMCET.

There is no surety that one will get fee reimbursement through the EWS category. If the college you are getting has the provision of that in the form of scholarship then you might will get your fees reimbursed.

Kindly check the website of the respective college or university.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

sir I am belongs to EWS category and my family income is 140000 if i get below 10000 rank in ts eamcet 2021 can I get full fee reimbursement in engineering

Deblina Roy 4th May, 2021

Dear student,

Economically Weaker sections is a new category for which 10% of seats will be reserved in B.Tech colleges across Andhra Pradesh for the academic section, 2020-2021.

In Telegana EAMCET, students from the annual income for SC, ST students should not exceed 2 lakh and for BC it should not exceed 1Lakh. Without the consideration of rank for SC, ST students all are eligible for this Fee reimbursement scheme. For the BC students below 10,000 rank are beneficiaries for this scheme (total fees will be paid by the government).

Thank You.

can we get seat in LPU, Punjab Or any other better engineering college for b. tech(cse) if we got 81 percentile in jee mains for ews category in 2021

Anurag Khanna 4th May, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Being LPU the private institution, provides you decent chances for your admission in B.Tech course on such percentile and category but for CSE branch it is quite difficult on such percentile even after being the EWS candidate. But you can also try through Management quota of LPU for CSE branch. Or you can also appear for LPUNEST which not only provides you decent chances of admission in your required branch but also provides you scholarship so that you can get some relief in paying college fee. For complete details about LPUNEST 2021 kindly check out the link given below :-

Sir i am from ews category and Ive got 81 percentile in jee mains in 2021 so can i get seat in LPU university Punjab

Sunita 18th Jun, 2022

Admission in B.tech courses at LPU is subject to qualifying LPUNEST exam.

In certain courses LPUNEST is mandatory, like if you are seeking admission in B.Tech, MBA  courses then LPUNEST is madatory, without LPUNEST you are not eligible for admission, However in certain courses like BA, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory, you can get admission based on your previous qualification.

The LPUNEST 2022 pattern of the exam is Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). LPUNEST Exam Pattern 2022 has a total of 4 subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English. LPUNEST is not much easy as well as not much difficult. If you do hard work and you have a good knowledge of topics which will be asked in LPUNEST, then surely you will qualify the test. LPUNEST is an online test (Fully MCQs) with no negative marking. No negative marking in the test is a positive point for you.
