All the best.
Hello
Vishwakarma institute pune is a good institute but Production Engineering branch is not such a developed branch in India as of now. The placements of this department is the lowest among all the BTech programmes, The placement percentage is around 10 to 15%. The highest package is around 7 lpa (if you have a very good cgp and you have extra skills from courses online along with internships etc). If you think you can be that one person who can manage to get the placement and that you will work hard and focus only on that one opportunity then you can go ahead with it. If possible then you can also take a drop and prepare well to get a better subject in a better institute. That being said, even if you do not get placed you can manage to get a job in the govt sector or in banking etc through competitve examinations.
Hey!
VIT vellore is considered as one of the top engineering colleges in India , also the facilities are appreciable here. All the faculty members are masters in their subjects. VIT is popular due to its placement records, especially for CSE and electronics/electrical engineering. But for production engineering the placement records are not that much good.
But if you want to take VIT only, then I advise you to choose it only if you are capable of changing your stream in second semester. Yes, you can migrate to any other stream in second year if you perform good in first year. Otherwise, it will become difficult for you to grab a good placement opportunity here.
Hope I answered your query, thankyou!
Getting a job in google depends mostly on your knowledge and skills that you acquire during college time. Getting a good college preferably IITs, NITs, IIITs would increase your chances of getting placed at Google. Try to get a good cgpa, Google visits these colleges every year. Also, even if you did not get into a college where Google comes for placements, try to acquire relevant skills and apply through direct recruitment which are opened on the Google official website frequently. You can also apply through Google Careers section in google India by selecting the available position and filling some information about you. If your education, experience meets as per there requirement then they will contact you and process your candidature further. But be sure to be well prepared for your PI

If the manufacturer gains 10%, the wholesaler gains 15% and the retailer gains 25%, then the cost of the production of the goods if the retail price is Rs.1265 will be Rs.800.
This is because of the following step I've mentioned-
C.P. of the article= 1265* (100/110)*(100/115)*(100/125)= Rs.800
Hope, this answer helps you.
See, we don't know what choices you have filled and which state you belong to. Looking at your OBC rank I can say that you could easily get chance in any college which is in your home state as you have the opportunity to use the home state quota there.
Please mention your choices (at least first five) and home state and ask this question again.
Hi Aspirant,
As Production engineering is a combination of manufacturing technology with management science. A production engineer typically has a wide knowledge of engineering practices and is aware of the management challenges related to production.
With Production Engineering you can do planning, designing, developing and managing of various processes to produce high quality products, So coming to companies you get placed in Amazon, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Salesforce, Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and many more. Hello aspirant, hope you are doing good.
Now, I'm not really sure what exactly is your question, because it's quite vague. If you are asking for the college ranking of NIRF , it's ranked 70th in India. And if you are asking about how production engineer is, in NIT agartala, i would say it's definitely great.
If you want to know about all the possible colleges you can get into with your JEE Mains rank, you can get it here:

Hope this helps you. Good Luck!!
